Following potential 2012 draftees

OT: I watched this guy this weekend (among many others). He's not for this coming draft class, or even 2013 .. he's a HS sophomore. Aaron Gordon.

His go to move is a reverse dunk?

How do we sell the Wizards on Al being the missing piece to a championship team?.... Too bad Jordan isn't in charge there any longer.

We sell them on it because it's obvious they have no true low post threat. Nene behind him could mask his defensive issues. And a Wall-Young-2012 rookie-Jefferson-Nene starting five doesn't sound too bad.

It really doesn't. Though, Jefferson and Wall sound like an awful combo. And if they had all that talent, would they really be a bottom 10 team in 2 years after Wall has developed more?

Might not have to. Their first concern next year could be putting a competitive enough team on the court so they don't have to sell season ticket prices at WNBA prices.

So ... let's say we miss GSW's pick this year. I'd guess there's a 100% chance we get the pick next year. With their roster next year, and understanding we have no idea how healthy Curry, Bogut, and the others, will be .. what would you guess their record, our pick?

Just a total and complete WAG for me would be around 16/17. Ballpark, ya think?

If we don't get it this year, I think we might be best served trading it and another piece for a veteran rather than using it. It would be REALLY nice to get it this year, but we'll be okay even without it.

The Golden State Warriors will be a good experiment for those that think tanking is a good thing and the experiment is:
Can a team that blatantly wanted to lose, start winning games?

No disagreement from me.

I don't think the players are trying to lose nor being told to do so. If anything, they know the mgmt is making decisions slanted toward getting the pick, but I find the whole 'losing culture' argument flawed. Who really doesn't want to win. They could have a very good team next year, very good. I'm not quite sure it proves much if they start winning a ton of games with a healthy Curry and Bogut .. those two, when healthy, are far more valuable than a 7/8 pick.
