Meh, on Dragic for me. He's not a bad player, can knock down shots. But is he really the PG for the future for us? I think not. Lowry & Holiday gets a 'semi-meh' from me too.

If we can't get a pick for Jefferson, I'd say let his contract expire and let Harris contract expire as well. Then pick up Harden as FA & then get our PG next year via the GSW pick.

We're not looking for a superstar PG. A second tier PG is what we need, which is about what I would say Lowry is.

Also, what PG are you targeting in the 2013 draft? I'd take Lowry, Dragic, or Holiday over any PG in that draft, and maybe even this one, for that matter.
 
So what does Philly need? If the Jazz can get Holiday then maybe they'll take the expiring Devin Harris?

I dunno. Philly seems less likely to grab a PG from than Houston. They have Lou Williams and EVan Turner but neither seems like a true PG, so if I were them I wouldn't part with Holiday. But I really like Holiday so I'm trying to see a way that it would work. But I don't.

I agree that Houston seems like a more likely trade partner for a PG. The expiring contract of Harris might be of interest to them, as well as the GSW pick? Maybe another future first rounder? Not sure.
 
I'm not sure about Lowry or Dragic. But they've both looked good at times. I'd probably go with Lowry except he's only 6 feet tall. Although it's not like Dragic's 3 more inches really help him much anyway.

Lowry averaged about 14/7. He can shoot, drive, dish, and is still fairly young. I think he fits in with our future plans, as well as the present.

I think we as Jazz fans have been spoiled with PG's over the years, so when we see a guy who averages less than All-Star numbers, we're a little too critical. Lowry seems like a good fit, IMO.

Is Lowry really that much better than Harris?
