I also wonder if Cleveland would draft him because of the Hometown Hero angle. Plus he is way better than Tristan Thompson (who I still can't believe was drafted 4th overall).
Yeah .. because they have a great history with that.

Zach Randolph

I don't know who should feel more embarrassed by that comparison, Sullinger, Randolph or Love.
They were better those 7 years than Cleveland sports have been in a long time. Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
Why is that so embarrassing? 3 unathletic PF's who all at some point (still in Randolph's) have had weight issues, all 3 have midrange game, all 3 are known for rebounding, all 3 have questionable defensive ability. The comparison's seem pretty appropriate to me. The people who get their panties in a wad over comparisons are lame, not every comparison is going to be perfect. It's just suppose to give an idea at the basic style of their game, not necessarily indicating they will be as good as that person.
Did you just describe AJ? I don't see Sullinger as having a better career than AJ, which is why I wouldn't draft him. He's an undersized C or unathletic PF who I think will have questionable Defense. Good offensive game, but I think that had a lot to do with overpowering people. He won't be able to rely on that in the NBA.

Though you're right .. he was referring to Kevin Love, Sullie, and ZRandolph.
I think Jefferson is more of a clear center in his game. It was only recently that Jefferson really added a reliable mid-range game, and he relies more on hook shots than either of those 3 do. I see those 3 as being more physical in the way they get their shots off were as Jefferson is more methodical.
Well Love is really the only comparable player to Sullinger that I can think of. Like I said, I don't expect him to be as good, but he is the really the only clear comparison playing right now.
