Following potential 2012 draftees

Players that I am liking in the second round

Pgs -

Scott machado he tore up the nj workout and I think he could contribute right away off the bench. He could be a steady starter in the league.

Jordan Taylor dude is built like a tank but shoots like an arty. measured out well at almost 6-3 in shoes he would be a great asset off the bench.

Tomas satoransky would be a good option to stash for a year or two. Great size but is more of a combo. But isn't very quick. This is a swing for the fences type of pick like tomic was. O bad that dint work out but try try again.

Wings -

Will Barton has a ton of talent would be worth a second round pick. He does play a position we are already pretty good at.

Kris Joseph freak athlete that needs to learn more.

Darius miller I have made my feeling well know about him solves a ton of our issues at the 3.

Jae crowder is way short but he is a workaholic. We kind of already have him in Carroll though.

Kris Middleton always interesting to take a player who under performed after coming back from an injury. He might be a steal when he fully recovers.

Big -

Mason plumlee gotta like hard works could have solid career as a 3rd big

Drew Gordon has a lot of talent. I think he should be a late first but will drop to the second. We don't need a 4 but I still like him.

Kyle o'quinn he is going to have a decent back up center role in the nba. I like him a lot.

Yes, but how much are they willing to give up to get a 1st? We are set at the 2, the 4 and 5. We need a 1 and 3. We need shooters and a LEADER (totally).

Are we more likely to get our needs through the draft (giving up assets) or through FA? Not an easy answer, I think.

I am in more reference to just buying a pick in the late first. I think Jeff Taylor will be able to help right away. Or even the nj second might get us a late first. Teams are preferring early second and the non gaurenteed contract to the 3 year first when talent might be close. Ie drafting Taylor in the first to getting miller in the early second.

AWESOME list, X. (I may add more later, but ..)

I don't know when the boys will be in Utah, but MKG said he'd be happy to send Jacob a signed ball in the meantime .. cool? If so, PM me an address.

Anyone who knows the story of MKG and his family would love this .. if you don't know .. ask, because it's on a plane of its own ..

First gift from Michael to mom (with what he had to say in a card, below).

I just wanted to say this is really cool of you to do. I'm usually not very serious on here, but honestly, that's awesome of you. You're not too bad of a guy P.

It's the kids that are cool. They're what's 'right' about professional sports and the NBA. They generally get a bad rap, but most are such good kids/guys. MKG is the best I've ever met, bar none.

Don't the Jazz need a 5th big? I thought it was pretty amazing we got through the year with only 4 and they all stayed relatively healthy.
