Following potential 2012 draftees

when I read the Royce White breakdowns I think: this dude sounds like a bigger, beefed up Alec Burks with attitude issues.

He's worth an early-20s pick. He seems like a bad fit due to shooting and defensive issues.

I wouldn't mind him manning the high post as a Jazz man.

There is a Darius Miller (or 3) in every draft. Royce White is one of the most unique players of the past decade. I'd rather take a risk on him.

I could be happy either way. Take the polish of a Darius Miller (along with his 45% 3pt shooting). Or the strength of White and his 4% FT shooting. Tomato/tomawto.

Can Royce play the 3? Can he defend anybody? Can he hit the broad side of a barn?

I agree that he is absolutely intriguing and unique. I'd like him a lot more if I felt like we would adopt a more unconventional offense and let him (and Hayward... and Burks...) initiate the offense and exploit the defense. A lineup with all three players would be very hard to game plan against... what are you gonna get?

White hardly moves the meter for me. We don't need (more) undersized 4s, and we don't need a guy that can't spread the floor or guard anyone. He brings a bunch of stuff to the table the the Jazz don't need in a package that is underwhelming.

What is the dude's ceiling, anyway? AK without the athleticism/defense? A worse shooting and smaller Lamar Odom?

Is he really 6"8"? Who was it that just measured 6'3" - 6'4"?
