Following potential 2012 draftees

Any chance at all DLamb falls to us in the second, or would it be worth trading Harris for a mid to late first to draft him?

My understanding is that his stock has risen a lot. I don't have any inside sources, I just read up on as much of this stuff as I can when I can. He might go to Philly right after the lottery.

@Xthren - Gillie texted me that Jake's ball was shipped this morning, the bad news is he forgot to give the athletic dept your address and they've shipped it to me, which will delay it a day or two. I'll try to send it out the same day I get it, though. (The ball is a UK Nat'l Championship ball .. like this one, I think.) EDIT: Only I made sure it's not a mini .. like the one in the pic.

Wow that is amazing I wish knew how to say thanks.

So essentially MKG is Shane Battiet with better athleticism and defense, but far worse shooting...right?

or Shaq with less height/weight but better FT shooter. Or Kirk Cameron only blacker and without all the 'Left Behind' gigs.

PKM - are you hearing anything about the Jazz trying to move Devin Harris? What's the front office's view on him in general?

I haven't heard anything regarding DH. Also, remember that I have no direct ties to the Jazz, at all. As I've said, my info is peripheral and only every so often it involves something to do with the Jazz. I claim no insider info to the Jazz directly. In other words, I don't know, lol.

Seriously though...great intangibles, leader, doesn't do anything but win and plays good defense with limited offense. MKG = Shane Battier

Wow a lot to reply to

First I dont want anything to with Royce white. He is not what we need to build on. As for white vs d miller it is a no brainer d miller > Royce white for the jazz.

I liked the video on lamb and I think he is a perfect fit for the jazz and he could play the point. With burks Hayward and lamb all can handle the ball and pass. Lambs 3 pt shooting would have to be respected opening up driving lanes for burks and Hayward. Add in d miller and the jazz would be set.

If the jazz targeted d lamb they wouldnt have to get rid of Harris but wouldn't hurt if the did.

You want a good Shane battier comparison go with Jeff Taylor. Not quite the winner battier is but defense and shooting are similar. Both hard workers.

Royce White intrigues me. Is he the right pick for this team? Probably not, but hell be a player Ill keep a close eye on for his first few years in the NBA. I'm always a fan of unique prospects(edit**) that go against the mould of traditional NBA players. I wouldn't be angry if the Jazz drafted him, despite the fact that he probably wouldn't excel in any sort of Jazz offensive system.

FWIW, Shane doesn't possess half of MKGs athleticism- think of a Battier mixed with the cutting-prowess of Ronnie Brewer, and (potentially) the fast-break finishing of a poor man's Scottie Pippen. He's a unique player, and would turn around a team like Cleveland. Hope he lands there.

MKG doesn't possess half of Shane's scoring ability.
