Yeah, Gordon is more proven. Sure. If I'm a GM and drafting in the top 10, then yeah, I'll draft Gordon ahead of LaVine.

However, the nba favors quick and fast guards. It is a PG driven league. Let's check back in 3-5 years and see where we're at. I've been right on things like this before. In fact, hantlers tried a few weeks ago to bring up a thread in which I made predictions on the draft. I was 100 percent correct too on those predicted from that draft.

If you had actually read what you wrote, I wasn't talking about what you predicted, I just mentioned that you had said if the Jazz drafted Hayward you would become a Thunder fan. Unfortunately, you're still here.

I don't really want a player like Marvin Williams in this draft.

Also, Williams was 6'9 and 230 pounds when he left UNC…he was physically developed. He also played on a stacked team. LaVine does not play on a stacked team, nor is he physically developed. I think even you can see why using Marvin Williams is a poor argument.

You're probably right but let's see. Let's not just discount those interested in him as merely being enamored with a few of his good games. That's my point. It's his potential. If he works on his body and develops his game, he'll be a very good player. I'm not sure Trey Burks would even be able to get a jumpshot off against him.
 
Even though Gordon isn't the strongest guy in the post, he generally does a good job of keeping players posted out of deep post.

well good thing scouts have been at 88/100 UCLA practices watching him.

His Physique is within 5 lbs of Brandon Knight's, Jeremy Lamb's, Dante Exum's MCW's, Tim Hardaway Jr's Ricky Rubio's George Hill's Avery Bradley's, Steph Curry's Jrue Holliday's and Jeff Teague's hes within 9lbs of Westbrook, Ben McLemore, Damien Lillard, Elfrid Payton so if thats really your main concern. you can stop worrying about his weight theres plenty of precedent of players his size recently having success. you're making a mountain out of a molehill

also lots of these 180-190lb guys werent freshman like Zach..
