What about offensively? That's half of the equation.
He won't get there a la Hakeem.. but he's got some very good moves/instincts.
His defense, though, will be stifling.

If Embiid is the next Hakeem, you draft him first.
Unless you have the next lebron, Kobe or Michael in the draft as well.
I think its 50/50... there are some damn fine players to about 40 in this draft... like normal 20 range at 40.
I just can't see us keeping more than 2 picks. 5 is a lot especially considering how young we already are and how much development we already have to do. I'm not saying we will definitely move up(you gotta have a partner) but maybe we trade for a vet.
Let me revise, if Embiid is a perennial DPOY and defensive anchor and has the ability to have an offense built around him (his passing is VERY impressive from what little I've seen) - even if he's not as good as Duncan or Hakeem - I'd trade Kanter, Favors, and the GSW pick to get him. If you get Wiggins, Parker, or Exum (provided they deliver on being a premier perimeter player) and a player like THAT? You have an honest-to-goodness, actual CORE. You can basically flesh the rest of the team out with 3 and D guys and if you have a good coach, you're a perennial contender.
