Following potential 2014 draftees

Every time I click on this thread I see this and feel like your telling us to bite you. Lol. Must've been a bad day.
Let me revise, if Embiid is a perennial DPOY and defensive anchor and has the ability to have an offense built around him (his passing is VERY impressive from what little I've seen) - even if he's not as good as Duncan or Hakeem - I'd trade Kanter, Favors, and the GSW pick to get him. If you get Wiggins, Parker, or Exum (provided they deliver on being a premier perimeter player) and a player like THAT? You have an honest-to-goodness, actual CORE. You can basically flesh the rest of the team out with 3 and D guys and if you have a good coach, you're a perennial contender.
I know next to nothing about Embiid. If he's the next poor mans Hakeem I'm going to have to check this out. With that said... I wouldn't trade Favors and Kanter plus a pick to take that gamble. Favors is starting to make some huge strides on offense, and to me his ceiling is very high and will only get better, and is now my favorit player over Hayward seeing his potential. If we draft Wiggins or Parker, and put either with Favors, and Hayward, we have our own big three, and main ingredients for a championship run, with Kanter at a tier below, don't think Kanter is as good as the others in terms of potential, and with Favors around the next 4 years on a fabulous deal for the jazz... I think Kanter is expendable. I think Favors given more time will become more consistent with his offense over the next year or two, and a big plus is it seems he genuinely wants to be in Utah. I have to imagine Favors agent advised him not to sign an extension because he could've easily gotten more from Utah or another team in Free-agency, (hello Hayward) yet Favors chose to give Utah a discount taking less money. Favors in his prime will get us 17/12/4/3. Instead of trading our entire front line and picks for an unproven talent... Let's build around this potential big three, and work toward a chip.

Check out the game logs for Jabari Parker:

Dude is a pillar of consistency.

Here's Andrew Wiggins'

His 13 pts in 30 minutes vs Iona is depressing, and is more evidence of him being passive.

Yeah, but this scares me. I am firmly settled on the Parker Bandwagon and afraid that Parker will go #1 to anyone. If this be the case, we have only a 25% chance of getting him and that is only if we continue to suck worse than anyone else.

Agreed.

Looks like I'll be holding my breath for more than just the inversion this year.

The problem moving up in this years draft is there is so much talent most teams will be perfectly happy taking the player that "falls" to them. It would have to be the perfect match for someone to make a move. I would love Embiid and Favors playing D on this team.

This post no make sense.

Embbid discussion i see more motumbo then hakeem.
parker will not go #1. Randle and wiggins will go before parker.
Smart seems to be the kind of player that plays with a chip on his shoulder. I could be considered top 3 if he keeps this up.

At times Duke will run their offense through Parker. While I like his shooting, I am also impressed with his rebounding and the 6 blocks he got in this game.

I want to see Kansas run more plays through and for Wiggins.
