Aaron Gordon's 39-inch vertical is 3rd highest for PF/C position in combine history, behind Miles Plumlee and Tyrus Thomas. This is BECAUSE HE IS TYRUS THOMAS.
Isn't AG at 220 lbs, with some ballhandling skills and no post game a NBA SF?

Middle of the pack? It's downright garbage for ward all, let alone NBA. I REALLY hope a team like the Lakers drafts him.
I think PKM mentioned Exum even before last year's Hoop Summit.
Who cares about his vertical? Something he can improve on but according to the post, he had the fastest times among guards. That is something more important than how high he can jump.
Chad Ford on Zach LaVine: "Virtually every GM I spoke with has him pegged as a lottery pick." (Insider)
Doug McDermott with a very impressive 36.5" max vert. He measured shorter than most people thought, but his max vert will help him.
How the **** did he do that?
Everyone must be shocked by that
Parker not in elite shape?
Rumors are running rampant among NBA scouts that Parker's no-show had less to do with his lofty draft status and more to do with the fact that he still isn't in elite shape.
Several teams told me that their intel has him as much as 15 to 20 pounds overweight. It's clear that Parker could be susceptible to weight gain, so that's not a surprise. But given his work ethic and character, I'd be surprised if he was really that overweight.
If the rumor is true, that won't bode well for his draft stock.

I wonder how much Parker gets credit for work ethic because he is a high character guy. How much is really due to his actual work ethic. If he were such a workout warrior, would he look so flabby and undefined during the season? Would there ever be whispers like above saying he might be overweight? Don't guys with great work ethic look like Karl Malone, Lebron, Kobe, MJ?
I guess I'm just not convinced Parker's work ethic is anything to write home about. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if his work ethic were a little below average.

So is Wiggins fat and lazy, too?
Good to know. Now I don't want either with a top-4 pick. They should slide all the way down to 9/10.

I just think it ridiculous for some writer to throw it out there that "NBA scouts" attribute Parker's absence to his physical shape, not to his agent telling him to skip the combine. No doubt Embiid was told to skip because he's lying in traction somewhere. Heck, for all we know, Wiggins skipped because he feared taking a drug test. Brings to mind the old "Rumors" song by Bobby Brown.yes because everyone has to have the same reasons for doing everything.
