Following potential 2014 draftees

so now that the dust has settled, PKM before i go please do me the honor of telling me why Julius Randle is certainly better than Noah Vonleh and Aaron Gordon, i dont know enough, from what ive seen, Vonleh is the sleeper
- after wiggins declared KU

Oh and can anyone confirm the report by Ryen Russillo about Vonleh? Is there a workout vid of Vonleh from the past week?

GM's were likely from Boston and Sacramento, trying to push Vonleh down to them.

I think Boston wants Gordon and has been pushing Vonleh up. The Lakers could also be pushing Vonleh up. They need Smart. If Utah takes Gordon and Boston takes Smart, LA is left with Nash + nothing at pg. I think Sacramento wants Vonleh over Randle and I would attribute this to them.

It's not the same. A couple GMs slamming Vonleh for something like "he has no drive" or "his skills won't translate" or something that is just an opinion is different from saying "he's fat". If he isn't fat other teams will know by just working him out or seeing him.

I do think it's interesting that Vonleh hasn't worked out for the Jazz. Trying to find info, but I see he was in LA last Wednesday, Sacramento on Monday and is working out for Boston today. Chad Ford reported on May 29th that Vonleh's stock was "soaring" and included a video of his workout. Sorry, I just don't see an athlete going from stud to out-of-shape dud in 2 weeks. And the fact this info likely comes from the Kings' camp has me very skeptical. The one hole Sacramento has on their roster is PF as Thompson, Landry and D. Williams all had disappointing seasons. Imagine Vonleh being paired with Cousins, Gay and Thomas. At SG, they have their pick from last year, McLemore. Kings would like nothing better than Vonleh landing in their lap. And how do they do that? Either try to trade up or try to make Vonleh slide down.

I love how you left out the rest of that quote;

i love it this really levels the playingfield, kentucky would have cruised with wiggins...

i actually see it like this

Wiggins
Vonleh
Gordon
Randle
Parker

is that absurd??? the thing that gets me with vonleh is he looks like Tyreke Evans/Durant/Bosh... way better than Harrison Barnes

Spot on before the general consensus?

PG_AB Big Board

1. Wiggins
2. Vonleh
3. Gordon
4. Randle
5. Parker

If you were so spot on you would have predicted Embiid to breakout, lol and for being such a Gordon hater you loved him earlier in the year.

Teams want his stock to be high so somebody they want falls to them.

Aaron Gordon is a homeless man's version of Blake Griffin.

I've said it a hundred times, but if he goes top-10 in the draft, then people are making huge mistakes. I just don't see him transitioning to the NBA that well.
Oh I never read that part. Hellllllll no. No. No. No.

Aaron Gordon is not, and never will be a 3.

Mother ****... thank you......

that post was around the time PKM posted " i talked to a scout today who said if the draft were today, Andrew Harrison would go #2"

make a big deal about the accuracy of all statements made before these kids played a college game. im sure that proves your point.

like i've said numerous times I was probably the first person on this website to bring up AG, and posted the "AG is not human" tape to the 2013 draft thread right when it came out

They must think they'll lose Thomas as a RFA. He averaged 20/6; that's pretty good.

I'd hesitate to trade down to #8. I think there is another drop off after #7 when you then get to the likes of Randle, McDermott, Stauskas and Saric.
Top 3 (+1) - Embiid, Wiggins, Parker (in some order), then Exum
Next 3 - Vonleh, Gordon, Smart (in some order)

I want the Jazz to end up with any of the above seven.

I'd take James Young at #8 without hesitation
