Let's say the jazz's own pick gets them Parker. How are you supposing we'll get another lottery talent? I think Young could go pretty early.

DraftExpress has him mocked at #19

So BTP doesn't think Parker has a back to the basket game? I've seen it, but would like to see more of it when he's matched up with smaller players. He looked effective to me in the limited times I've seen him use that part of his game. In fact if he plays SF in the NBA, I think that would/should be a decent part of his game to keep teams honest.

Are we watching the same games BTP?

So https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb-ghooJsBk

We see hand off threes, early offense threes, screen and roll, pullups, runner/floater, fastbreak. And we see a pathetic attempt to post up Wiggins around 2.20. Yeah sorry but I don't care if he can post up white 5'11 UNC Trashville PF who weighs 160 lbs.
He showed perimeter game and good lane selection. But he doesn't have a postgame until he shows against competition.

I am more concerned about Parker and Randle's defense. PKM can Randle guard SF and is he a 3 in the NBA. I think both Randle and Parker are going to struggle defensively if they guard PFs.

So that should clear it up why I didn't want you to summon maximum trollness of the New Zealandish troll

If Parker isn't projecting as a player who can guard 3s, then his stock should rightly take a hit. I need to see more, and I am slightly worried about his defensive position, but I do see SF in him.

So you're going to take 2 seconds from a highlight reel and use it to describe his post up game?

He has handles, size, and touch. I don't think he will have a problem developing a strong post game.

does anybody think we will actually keep gsw pick though? We have to be planning on packaging it. 5 rooks?

How do you get five rookies? All our young guys will not be rookies next year. Have you seen the Jazz bench? They are going to need to improve the bench. The GS Players are FA along with Marvin and Hayward. So the Jazz are going to need some bodies. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jazz used one of the young guys +GS pick to move up.

There is no way they are going to move up to #6 unless they were able to trade Hayward or Kanter to get that high of a pick. I don't even think that would get us a top 6 pick.

No I say that he doesn't have it right now, else he'd be showing it. And I watched the whole game. These 2 seconds were the only he did it. Parker is average height for SF with good wingspan, but below average explosion/athleticism and strength. I don't see why he would be a dominant post player.
And I stated before I like the little things he did defensively. He'll be okay guarding 3s.
