Following potential 2014 draftees

I've said before, but this epic draft class seriously lacks perimeter defenders. Like a major glaring hole.
In the next draft, Stanley Johnson is EXACTLY what you're looking for. (also, Justise Winslow)
Basically, I like how Corbin has structured lineups/roles this season, and with Parker or Randle on board, I could see him (or another coach) be successful with similar lineups. That is, you start Trey (offensive hub via pick and roll), Gordo (fast break, spot up, jack of all trades), 3&D, Parker/Randle (offensive hub via isos and postups) and Favors (defensive anchor), and bring Burks and Kanter off the bench (quite a luxury IMO...it was fun watching Kanter abuse Jordan Hill and wear out the Lakers second unit last night), along with a point guard (Neto?). That's a pretty solid 8-man rotation that gives you a lot of different options down the stretch and puts constant pressure on opposing teams.

Maybe the Jazz are better off punting their second pick or just going BPA this year, and re-signing Marvin to fill that 3&D role for one more season. FWIW, there really aren't that many physical wing defenders who can also consistently function as decent off-ball players in the halfcourt currently in the NBA. There's Iggy...and....um...?

Yep... not many at all. No one coming out of this draft is going to better 3D ball than Marvin... at least not for the next couple years.

Wrong thread... as he's 2015 draft.... but here's 17year old Stanley Johnson. Mixtapes always want to show offense, but he is a badass lockdown defender.

That video screams lock down defender to me. He's definitely a keeper.
