I could see Embiid passing Parker depending on the team. Which would be good for us of course if we are 3![]()
I really lreally like what i see from Imbiid. Anyone that compares him to thabeet should be punched in the nuts.

Only tangentially related to the discussion:
I think the Jazz should be looking for younger, more athletic and talented players to take over the roles currently being filled by RJ and Marvin.
That is, the Jazz have 2 traditional(-ish) bigs in Kanter and Favors, landing either Parker or Randle to add some skill, fluidity, spacing to the big rotation would be HUGE.
On the wing, neither Burks nor Hayward fill the role of athletic/physical perimeter stopper. A third wing who can defend the more physical/athletic wings in the league, while also consistently knocking down open jumpers and making the right pass would complete a decent wing rotation for the Jazz (giving the Jazz a lot of lineup options). I'm not sure who fits the bill in either this coming draft or the next. Any suggestions? There aren't really any decent free agent options this coming summer.
I see wiggins as being a great perimeter defender and I believe his jumper is coming around pretty good.
He is the one I want most
Wiggins is so beastly. Cannot wait to see him in action tomorrow. Screw the NFL
I can easily see #MapleJordan putting on 20lbs.
I like that peeks said that he thinks wiggins will get alot bigger muscle wise too.
That is about my only concern (too frail)
why not? both raw with ton of potential. both long and athletic. embiid had better talents around him. took thabeet longer to develop, but he did develop every year at uconn. he was still raw as hell, but he did show many moves that made him get that 'potential' tag. right now, we don't have enough on embiid to be absolutely sure that he won't bust in the NBA. everybody knows his ceiling is super high. but his floor could be lowest out of the usual suspects. if thabeet came out this year he would be in the top 12-13 discussion as well. teams always get blind sided by the crazy measurables
i'm leaning towards embiid being more mutombo with better offense, but can i see him bust like thabeet? yes, i can. i won't be surprised.
