Following potential 2014 draftees

That "science" is pretty vague. Does 1 foot longer than Durant's strides mean on average? Because I'm fairly certain anyone can alter the length of their strides. I understand the value of being able to take 1 dribble from the 3 point line to the basket, but in general, smaller strides lets the player change direction more effectively and allows them to "jump up rather than out" as my coach always said.

That being said, gotta get Wiggins.

Forget about the comparison. What's important is that he takes two steps from the 3pt line and he can still dunk it.

loooooolllzzzzz wugginz is overrated he sucks and he will be a bust.

2 years after, my boy jabari parker will be a superstar in salt lake averaging 28/8/4 while wiggins root the bench in sactown.

sac will get the 1st pick.

frank is way off on doubting, in the least, Wiggins' athleticism. The way he 'catches a lob' (lol) must be a poor way to judge. I doubt there's a better athlete in the NBA.

You can pooh pooh it all you want but the fact remains that there is nowhere near the certainty surrounding him as there was other top flight players who were, outside injury, guaranteed to be All Stars.

I'm not saying you don't take him #1 or anything, just that there's something he's currently missing that a bonafide #1- without-a-doubt draft pick would have. He doesn't take over games for starters, doesn't finish through contact, and has suspect handles. He's nowhere near as polished as Marvin Williams was at 19, his shot isn't nearly as good... That 2005 draft was so much stronger and they were still considering Marvin at #1. This one has a variety of questions hanging over every player's head and Wiggins still is not the consensus #1.

Maybe he is a better athlete than Lebron as you say, but I still have my reservations about what the guy will become.

He's way more polished than Marvin was and has taken over every game since Embiid has been out.

I will bet you any amount of money that Wiggins does not primarily come off the bench in the NBA. Any amount. You name it.
