Following potential 2014 draftees

lolololololololol

From Iowa State?????????

You krak me up.

Is this serious? Or am I missing your sarcasm?

It's a massive demotion. You do realize the following:

1. Hoiberg is an ISU alum.
2. He is from Ames.
3. His wife is from Ames.
4. They are raising 4 children in Ames.
5. His parents are from Ames and his dad teaches at ISU.
6. His in-laws are from Ames.
7. His nickname is "The Mayor." He's probably in line for some sort of political office once he retires a la Tom Osborne.

It's like the perfect storm. And when is the last time that any successful, high-major D1 coach took an assistant coaching position at another school?

Dude might be first in line for any of the blue blood jobs should they come open. Kansas, UCLA, Duke, North Carolina, Indiana, Kentucky. He's not taking a backseat to anyone.

What about Kevin Ollie?
Is UConn considered an elite program?
Would he consider Indiana, UCLA, etc if offered?

believe it or not, i predicted christian ponder to be in the top 15 in the FF. that was my last WTF mock. and in the FF they didn't use such a kind word like 'insanity'. i also said johnny football will be a top 10 pick since last year. i was crucified. now, most likely he will be picked top 10. just last year, virtually nobody had him in the 1st round. many had him at 3rd round actually.

if aaron harrison puts up great numbers at the predrat(i fully expect him to do so), he may shock a lot of you on the draft day. but if he doesn't, i can see him stay where he is at 15-20 range. and this won't be the first time you'll see a meteoric rise in the draft. happens all the time. i'm still shocked cavs picked bennett last year. still shocked by jordan picking morrison. remember tskitishvili? i was like who? got kiki fired.

i won't be surprised by anything. is picking aaron harrison that big of a reach? dude is a freshman and he has shown ability to play. yes he is flawed. but so is aaron gordon, vonleh, smart, and many others. aa harrison at #7-#9 is my surprising pick of the year. i won't be so predictable.

I honestly don't care if he gets picked in the lottery or not, it won't change my opinion of him as a player.

If he gets picked in the lottery, it was a poor decision. That doesn't mean you were smart for saying it would happen, it just means that you agreed with an idiotic decision.
