NM. Just looked at draft express and they already have him at 23, so the rising has already begun.
What happened to that French PG, Leo Westerman? He looks like a solid prospect.

I could see him going as high as late lottery. His age is somewhat a factor.
There's going to be some really solid guys drafted in the middle of this draft. Maybe even later.

I think the biggest upside outside the concensus top8 aka the "best of the rest" have James Young, Dario Saric and Mario Hezonja in case he declares.
With Young it's a lot of background check.
Teams know his college shot selection and lackluster defense.
Everybody also knows that he's got the body and skills to be very good potentially. So if a team considers him in the low teens, they'll have to do a background check going back to his kindergarten and stuff to make sure he isn't JR Smith's secret soul mate.
With the internationals that's obviously a lot harder. Saric might get picked pretty early as well due to his achievements with Cibona Zagreb.

Apparently Embiid is holding a press conference today at 2pm central. According to https://zagsblog.com/kansas/sources-embiid-set-to-declare-for-nba-draft/ he plans to announce that he enters this year's draft.
