Following potential 2014 draftees

LMAO @ McGary ever being a better basketball player than Kanter.

Holy **** at that.

i never said mcgary was better than current kanter. kanter is 3rd year NBA player. that's not a fair comparison. i said mcgary is better at the same stage of their career (not same age).

mcgary - better defender, meaner, tougher, better offensive rebounder, better passer, better handles

kanter - better offense, better athlete, bigger upside

if both mcgary and kanter came out same year mcgary would be just few spots behind kanter. kanter was chosen high because of his potential not because of his skills.

kanter's 3rd season - 12.3/7.5/.9 26.7 min

mcgary would put up similar number by his 3rd year if he stays healthy. but again mcgary is old. kanter is only 1 month older.

another huge difference between the two. mcgary is way stronger. mcgary has that farm boy strength. kanter, as big as he is, he hasn't shown me that physicality. that was my biggest beef. i want mean **** who can lay wood.

I understand what you said, I just disagree with it.

McGary isn't really that good.

McGary hasn't even averaged double figure points in college yet…I'm not so sure he'll be doing so in the NBA any time soon.

He started with no shot attempts and then he became more involved in the offense. points are hard to come by in beilein's offense especially when you are a freshman big man. trey, timmy, grob III, stauskas were busy making jump shots. but when he was needed dude put up good numbers. 25/14 against kansas. he absolutely dominated them.

and this year he was plagued by back problems. didn't play much. and this is the only reason why he is a 2nd rounder. if he played this year healthy and well, no doubt he would've been a 20-30th pick this year.

let's say we draft randle then honestly we don't need kanter. we are basically changing our direction. if that happens then i really won't mind trading kanter and draft a big tough kid who will play defense. every teams need enforcers.

id take a look at Senegalese bigman Moussa Diagne in the 2nd, ive seen a good bit of footage on him since he declared the other day and read a few translated scouting reports. hes very mobile and has some nice explosion for a player 6'11" with a 7'5" wingspan, saw him make some really impressive catches and rebounds. put him on the list of possible draft and stash guys imo, looks like a possible "workout warrior" at the combine
