Following potential 2014 draftees

Vonleh is up to No. 5 in Chad Ford's Big Board.

From Ford: "No one helped his draft stock this week more than Vonleh. He did not participate in the drills, but his measurements (6-9½ in shoes, with a crazy 7-4½ wingspan, a 9-foot standing reach and the largest hands in the draft) combined with excellent athletic testing numbers (he had a 37-inch maximum vertical) gave Vonleh the edge physically over the two players he's competing with (Julius Randle and Aaron Gordon). Combine that with his ability to shoot, rebound and block shots, and I think Vonleh might end up beating both of them as the first power forward taken in the draft."

...Think I might have predicted Vonleh as sneaking into the top 5. I have Randle and Vonleh basically tied for #5 until they do workouts.

I had Vonleh as my #5 before the combine.
Still like him more than Randle. Even after workouts, I think Vonleh has better upside due to his measurements and shooting ability. This is becoming a league of stretch-4's; Vonleh would give us that.
I wouldn't mind a big rotation of Kanter/Vonleh and Favors/Gobert. I'm not going to be too upset if the Jazz drop just one spot in the lottery.

Only downside I see is that Randle can play the 3; I'm not sure if Vonleh can. :D

I don't get the Carmelo hate. He's missed the playoffs ONCE. Who has he ever been paired with? Has he ever had a cast as good as Boozer, Memo and AK?

Why does Carmello get killed and and Love gets praised?

I'd take Carmello any day of the week.

AI, Chauncey Billups, Tyson Chandler, Nene, Amare Stoudemire, Marcus Camby........

Need I go on?

I really only want two players in this draft. Wiggins or Jabari. I have a feeling Dennis Lindsay is going to make the Jabari draft Happen if we don't land the #1 pick and Wiggins.

If we get Wiggins, I hope we get a decent stretch 4 in free agency. That team would be pretty sick

Burke
Hayward
Wiggins
Stretch 4 not named Kanter (Kanter will slow the pace down, I think)
Favors

Or if we draft Jabari, I want to sign Luol Deng to play the 3.

Wow. Really? Those names sound great, but Chauncey was the only one that wasn't a shell of his former self.

Name me one player that made the all star game while he was on the team. I don't think he has ever played with an All Star.

I usually don't believe a word PKM says, but as he alluded to yesterday, Randle is going #2 to Philly. Just makes too much sense.
