I love smart, but for some reason i just can't see the jazz taking him.

Vonleh projects i guess what would be called 'prototype stretch 4' %'s. somewhere in the range of 45-50% from the field, high 30's from 3 and 80% from the line.

for reference some of the players in the league right now shooting close to those 'stretch 4' percentages are, Dirk, Love, Khris Middleton, Marcus Morris, Patrick Patterson, Channing Frye, Mcbob's and also Marvin and Millsap are close thats really about it, most of these guys are 45% and below from the field almost all of those guys are strictly offensive players, i think putbacks will really help his FG% stay closer to 50

what I REALLY like is Vonlehs rebounding and how it translates to the league. if he ends up somewhere where they need a ton of rebounds i could see him eventually near 11 per game, and if you drop him on some injury riddled ****ty team and give him more than 25mins on a team like Philly last year im sure he could come close to 9 rebounds next year, foul trouble is likely to limit his #'s early on though its not a huge concern. improving strength, huge hands, long arms and his activity pursuing rebounds are all TOP notch for an 18 year old, and it translated to on court production at IU as it will in the NBA.


im sure this will get flamed, and taken out of context, but my complicated player comparison is;

a rich mans Juwan Howard.

hes more athletic and proficient shooting from 3 instead of midrange, better rebounding and blocked shots numbers. the disconnects being a few years of offensive polish and Howards better passing. Im not sure if that comparison has the sex appeal of some comparisons, but i do think Noah ends up a multiple all-star..

i wouldent be surpised if Vonleh ends up playing a really long time, hes got one of those skillsets you'd see from guys that stick around forever like Jermaine Oneal, Juwan Howard and Kenyon Martin.

career year, best case #'s from prime Vonleh, id guess; 22 ppg 12rebs (5orebs) 2.5asts, 2 blocks, 1.5 steals, 50% fg's 39% 3pt shooting, 85% freethrows...

which im sure computes to an absurd PER

Going on the record and saying that Cleveland will draft Embiid.

The reason? Scotty Hopson.

Scotty Hopson is going to beat out Wiggins for the starting 2-guard spot, so they will draft Embiid.

he could be better, i dont see the need to compare him to LaMarcus Aldridge, Chris Bosh or Kevin Love as a potential #1 option's or 24ppg guys, it's not out of his realm of possibilities though, but probably at leas 3 years off

Noah could end up making 3's in bunches, turning offensive rebounds into baskets at a great rate and drawing and converting plenty of fouls, all well known ways to compile points quickly in the NBA.

Juwan Howard was very productive in his prime and solid outside of it, he was an allstar and made an all-nba team, so a rich mans version of that would be a great pick at #5.

If i'm Noah's agent trying to make a case for him, rich mans Juwan Howard is not the player comparison im using, id tell you a bunch of **** you'd want to hear like hes a #1 option, future defensive anchor, a stronger chris bosh and be done with it... I try to be objective though, i think he probably ends up more of a supreme #2 option, a stat sheet stuffer with great percentages rather than a true #1

for the record i was crazy about Bosh Favors and Aldridge in their respective drafts. Kevin Love not so much, i had Brook Lopez rated higher.
 
Its been a joy to see these draft workout vids of jabari, embiid, and gordon....... but those are just appetizers.

Once wiggins workout vid comes out the bonerz will be uncontainable.
Wiggins will be running like a gazelle and jumping like a kangeroo.
He will be hittin 3 after 3 and dribbling through the legs and whatnot.
We will hear rumors of amazing wingspan and standing reach.

If everyone looks amazing in these workouts (which seems to be the case) then i cant wait to see the guy with the most athleticism and upside ballin in an empty gym.

He will be back to the top of everyones draft board
