Yahoo has us drafting Booker, Cliff Alexander and Norman Powell. Not exactly going to win a fantasy league on stats.

His FT% is also tremendous and it is much more predictive about a player's future success as a shooter in the league from what I've heard from draft experts. He shot 87% and 89% last couple of seasons. He projects as a great shooter.
 
I think a move up to #9 or #8 are very possible if the Jazz are committed to it.

I'm also becoming more intrigued with Looney based on the murmurs that he did well in his workout. He's such a unique player, and he should be a solid rebounder when he adds strength. If that bet pays off, it could pay off well.
 
Has a player even been traded after having surgery like Burks? Seems like the jazz would be selling low because of it. It also seems like it would be a dick move to do.

I think his salary match is really tricky because this is the first year of a new deal... not sure he can feasibly be traded. I'm too lazy to figure out exact numbers, but its an issue.
 
Robert Upshaw In Holding Pattern, Awaiting Further Medical Tests

An issue with Robert Upshaw's heart was identified by doctors at the NBA Combine in Chicago last month, which has forced him to suspend training and postpone all workouts with NBA teams. At this point, no long term conclusions have been reached, and further blood testing has been requested by NBA doctors to pinpoint the exact nature of his medical condition.

We reached out to Upshaw's agent, Bill Duffy, for comment.

"Robert and his family have been fully aware of his medical history. Twice previously this was addressed by highly respected University Cardiologists and Robert was subsequently cleared for all basketball activities. The NBA Combine Doctors are now waiting for the results of a final test, which will be known in a week's time. For good reason, we take this very seriously and support the physicians doing their due diligence. Based on the outcome of previous evaluations, we expect his full clearance. Robert's health comes first and the progress he was making prior to this break in activity was exceptional. We are confident once his training is resumed he'll continue to be in a really good position going forward."

Editor's note: We will keep you posted further on Upshaw's condition as we learn more about it. For now, we have elected to hold off on making any changes in Upshaw's evaluation or ranking as a NBA prospect until more precise info is revealed. Should Upshaw not get medically cleared to work out for NBA teams in the near future, this will undoubtedly affect his draft stock.

1. Turner - I think his shooting touch and defense are for real. Highest upside
2. Looney - Rebounding will translate, versatile playmaker, very skilled ballhandler, I think he can shoot well eventually
3a. Kaminsky - Don't think he's as high risk as everyone says. At worst, he's a better Kelly Olynyk. Has an iso game, can shoot and pass as well.
3b. Lyles - Another versatile playmaker
5. Portis - Maybe the second highest floor behind Kaminsky. Afraid he'll turn into a spot up shooter who can't shoot 3s. Not sure if he can have an iso game or make plays. If he had a normal sized neck, he'd be 6'8.5". Good motor and attitude and plays hard though.
