Following potential 2015 draftees

He said don't take Frank cause he don't play defense (We don't even know that he won't play D)

I was saying that you can still take a player even if they are not great defenders silly
Whatever. I happen to agree with him. Why would you draft someone who could be the equivalent of Kanter or Boozer on defense? And to your point, I think you can draw conclusions about defensive potential from their college careers (especially with Frank} and physical attributes, like length and mobility. Teams have sub-par defenders because you probably can't fill out a roster in the NBA without them, but they don't go out of their way to sign them. Unless they are stars which, you know, Frank isn't. So you're right. You can still take a player even if they are not a great defender. But why would you if you have other options.

Every player at 12 has weaknesses. We have excellent defenders already. Frank could be exactly what the jazz need.
But I'm with you not wanting the jazz to draft frank.
I do want them to. It's ok that we disagree.

I think the Jazz are going to trade up. They're going to throw caution to the wind and toss assets about to overachieve in the draft.

Makes sense to aggregate those assets - not a lot of roster spots on this team. As someone said in an earlier post: Quality > quantity.

But I'd hate to see another Trey Burke scenario where the Jazz use assets to move up for a player who turns out worse than the player they could've gotten just staying at 12.

But they could trade up to be sure that nobody else gets the guy they want: Looney, Kaminsky, Turner. I'm not sure but I think I might put them ahead of Johnson.
