Following potential 2015 draftees

You act like Johnson's weight is a bad thing. Pls explain why.

Rather than opine on what the possible reasons might be, I'll defer to the facts. I have history on my side here - you just rarely see guys that short and that heavy having successful NBA careers. It's not my opinion, it's a fact. Perhaps Stanley will break the mold. If the Jazz take him, I hope he does. But I'm simply not surprised if he's outside the top 10.

It should be interesting to track over Stanley's career and the 82 game schedule if that extra weight has any effect on his joints. generally you can absorb as much as ya can push out - but there's just a so many reps in the NBA.

Look at what happened to Jabari last year, one misstep, and kaboom.

So you got nothin.

Yes. This is what I'm saying exactly. Island of delusion must be a fun place.

Well, you're actually waffling back and forth -

you said:
There isn't a player of Hood's caliber at the 28th pick in this draft, so your point is irrelevant.

When I point out how ridiculous that statement is, using the 2013 draft as an example, you say:

Jazz still had a high need to acquire talent in 2013. Not so much now.

It seems you aren't even sure what you want to argue.

Jabari seems like a legit fatty though, like someone who is carrying unnecessary weight.

Johnson looks much more built with his weight distributed more evenly and efficiently.

Dude, at one point Rudy Gobert was projected to go in the top 5 of the draft by DX. There is no one like that in this draft, I can guarantee it.

Robert Upsahw potentially, I guess, but we aren't risking drafting him in the first round.

I'll help you out SJF. So far, his weight hasn't hindered his perimeter defense at all. It does however give him the ability to play some defense down low due to good lower body strength and girth. The only problem is that he's relied on it to play bully ball on offense, which just isn't going to work in the NBA.

I see his size as more of a positive than a negative. I mean, the dude has like 7% body fat. He's not fat, he's just built like a rock.
