Following potential 2015 draftees

Towns looks bad... if he keeps up this level he might slip to us. Hell if he keeps playing like that he might even stay in college for another year.

Karl Towns' athleticism has struck me as being in the Greg Monroe tier. He does a lot of things well, especially for a guy his size, but I'm not sure he'll be dominant at the NBA level.

Okafor looks great on offense but somewhat underwhelming on defense. He also doesn't seem to have great athleticism.

According to Eurohoops.net Shane Kupperman and Bryson Graham of the Pelicans watched Vezenkov today(Kupperman is director of basketball operations for the Pelicans and Graham is a video coordinator and player development coach). Vezenkov finished with team high 16pts(6/10FG, 3/4 3PFG), as well as 4rbs and 2 ast in a win 83:80. In his previous game he had double-double 13 and 12. His team Aris is currently leading the league along with Panathinaikos without a loss. Vezenkov is averaging 15.5 and 8 and shooting 60% from 3 for the season so far.

Weekly update on Vezenkov. He played another 2 great games in the Greek last two weeks:

vs Koroibos
23 points(8/15 FG, 2/5 3p FG, 5/8 FT), 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block

vs Kolossos Rhodes
21 points(8/11 FG, 3/5 FG, 2/4 FT), 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal

He's averaging: 17.5ppg (62%FG, 58% 3P FG, 67%FT), 9.3rpg, 1.5 assists.

4th game as a freshman.. he played way better against KU. He wasnt feeling it so he only took 4 shots for 4 points. 5 blocks.

Okay....I may get blasted for this, but hear me out....

Is there a player near the top of this draft that would be worth trading Favors for this spring?

The assumptions are:

a) Gobert is looking like our center of the future.
b) Kanter is looking like a 20/10 player at PF next to Gobert.
c) Favors' trade value is probably the highest on the team given his current deal and his potential to create an instant impact defensively for a team that wants to move up to a higher tier. Hence, Favors could get us a top-5 pick in a trade, especially if the Jazz take back some salary. We could throw in Trey Burke for laughs.

Assuming you buy this logic, who in this draft *might* be worth making such a move for? The dude would have to be a stud 2-way player.

Winslow? Johnson? Hezonja? Porzingis?

Actually, let me rephrase this...

Who would you trade Favors for, draft prospect or existing player?
