Peeks just had an ******.
Starts with "o", ends with "gasm".
Why the **** is ****** censored?
Ok but who was picked after Trey that we can say for certain that is gonna be a star? That was a pretty bad draft overall. More importantly we did not "tank" effectively - we barely missed the playoffs.
Yes, maybe no one is a star per se, but many of them have a higher ceiling than Trey and have not had the off court issues. So I think a better question is who was picked after Trey that is going to be better than Trey? I understand they are still young, but Trey is just coming up short, while others are showing more potential. My main point is that I have serious doubts about the Jazz's ability to evaluate draftees.
Oh well if you go and look at Trey's final year at MICH you'll see that he had improved quite significantly from his 1st year. If he had continued that growth it's not unexpected that eventually he would turn out to be a pretty good player.
- He was shooting lights out from 3 (38% no less).
- He had the best assist/TO ratio in college
- He was the best off the dribble shooter in college.
- His assists numbers improved, etc, etc, etc.
It's a pity his shooting went away and he never took that next step athletically.....
You can't take the next step athletically. There is a limit.
...... Hayward was this skinny white kid who took that step.

Not sure if this has been talked about, but apparently Okafor beat Kanter a few years ago, FWIW.
