Following potential 2015 draftees

D'Angelo Russell with yet another bad shooting game against a good opponent:

vs Marquette 2/5, 2/3 from 3 in 31 minutes
vs Louisville 6/20, 0/6 from 3 in 31 minutes
vs UNC 4/17, 3/10 from 3 in 38 minutes
vs Iowa 4/16 1/8 from 3 in 32 minutes.

The thing is he was getting good shots, and creating good shots, they just... were not falling...

I don't know if anybody is watching the Virginia game, but this Justin Anderson guy is a freakish athlete and has a very strong body and frame... First game I'm seeing of them this year.

Looked at some videos last night.

I like Emanuel Mudiay.

Let's draft him.

Well, we blew it by winning over Philadelphia. But Burks being out should help us finish in the 5-8 range. I'd offer Trey, the #6 and the 2017 GS pick to move up to #3 and draft Mudiay.

I find it remarkable how much Cliff Alexander talked has ebbed. That's a guy I'll keep an eye on. He's pretty rare from a skillset standpoint.

He is a mini black hole so far. 1 assist in 205 minutes. I get a Thomas Robinson vibe.

He had some nice moments in transition, but all the shooting guards in D-League do that. Playing in Motta's terrible zone, we'll never know if he can defend, either.

Comp so far: CJ Miles (inconsistent lefty)

I'm now putting Trey Lyles ahead of both Myles Turner and Chris McCullough. He's the kind of player the Jazz need, a versatile 6'10 guy who can handle, pass, shoot, post, rebound, run out, etc. I think he's under the radar with all the other talent on UK, but I don't remember seeing many Freshmen who had such a smooth and complete game as 6'10" players.
