Following potential 2015 draftees

I like Johnson, so don't get me wrong, but Winslows shot just looks a lot more smooth to me. Probably because I have a thing for lefty's.

I prefer Johnson as he seems to have the body to abuse guys in the NBA already. Winslow is nice but I'd put Johnson ahead of him.

I agree that Johnson does have an NBA body, but Winslow is 6'7 and 230. He's not exactly small.

No, certainly not. But when I watch Johnson I see an NBA player. When I watch Winslow I see a kid that will be an NBA player someday.

Let's just hope that they both continue to perform well. It would be nice to have multiple 3&D options where we're projected to pick. We could really use one.

right now I have Winslow above Johnson just because of the report out of Arizona that miller benched Johnson because the offense wouldn't flow with him in there. he seems to be a little bit of a black hole on offense. this concerns me a little

I think Johnson's shot looks smoother actually. He's got a quicker release and just seems like it has more of a fluid motion to it. His release is a little lower, but that's not always a bad thing. That's how Lillard shoots it too.

Winslow's shot looks slower and more mechanical to me, like he's still not totally as comfortable shooting it.

Let's hope we get D-Russ. In D-Russ We Trust.
I was watching some highlights and the dude looks like a baller for sure.

From the little I've seen, I like him more than lots of the guys projected to go ahead of him.

The board is pretty fluid between Nos. 5 and 12. Johnson could end up just as easily going fifth or sixth as he could 11th. Johnson was replaced by Rondae Hollis-Jefferson in the starting lineup on Sunday against Arizona State. However, by the start of the second half, Johnson was back with the first team. It appears that there have been some concerns about Johnson's defensive effort as well as a tendency for the ball to stop moving when he's on the floor. Those are minor issues overall and everyone expects Johnson to continue to play the alpha-dog role for Arizona. His shooting has been especially impressive this season; he's making 52 percent of his 2-point jumpers and 45 percent from 3. It's his percentage at the rim (just 48 percent) that has raised some eyebrows.

I think some of the details that have been mentioned, more recently about Johnson and Winslow, are sort of minutia. Let's put it in the simplest terms. Who just flat out looks like a great all-around Spurs-type basketball player? Length and athleticism are nice but we need a guy who has a handle, can shoot, pass, and play some d.

I think they both fit the criteria you just described, which is why there's a nit picky conversation about who is better.
