Following potential 2015 draftees

Winslow=Kirk Snyder. Bust!

(Disclaimer: My dislike of Winslow is mostly irrational and unfounded. I looked at players who were to be drafted in the lottery and zeroed in on him as the player I would hate on. I am not usually arbitrary when it comes to my assessment of players.)

Snyder was a bust because he was loco.

Winslow is a solid defender. I like him but he's going to be a complimentary player and not even close to a star. Though he's a realistic pick as we'll probably be choosing at 8 unless the lottery balls pop in our favor.

A Khawi Leonard type then pretty much right? That is how you described him. Bet Jaz wish they would of drafte dhim when they could of.

I'll be the first to say it. D'Angelo has been playing meh against good competition. Against Louisville, UNC, and some of the tougher conference games, he's been mediocre at best. His lack of athleticism could be a real concern.

He's also the only offensive option on that team...so yeah, he's gonna struggle against better teams.

I think Looney's draft stock depends a lot on his measurements. In 2013 as a 17 year old he measured at 6'9.5" with a 7'3" wingspan. If he measures at like 6'10.5" with a 7'4"+ wingspan, he could have a Vonleh-esque jump to the top 6 or 7.

He's only 18. He'll be fine. He's still a good athlete and it's not like James Harden or Steph Curry are great athletes.

Leonard's defense was undervalued when he was drafted. He's also got the ideal frame/hands to be a 1st-rate defender. Pretty much everything about Leonard's game was undervalued.

Agreed, which is why im high on Looney. I need to watch more tape of him tho.

This is a weak argument. Studs, like Glenn Robinson, have dominated while pretty much on their own. And the Big Ten stinks this year. I don't expect him to be great night in and night out or in every big game but he's really not shown up in one big game yet.

I'm not too familiar with him but it seems like everyone coming out of UCLA is translating well to the NBA. He's also pretty consistent numbers-wise. I probably like Looney more than Winslow based on numbers but admit I haven't seen Winslow play much.
