Following potential 2015 draftees

What does Andrew H. excel at though? It seems like the best 2nd round picks are guys who dominated something in college and they bloomed their other skills later on (Jimmy Butler/Wes Matthews and defense/Paul Millsap and rebounding).

Agreed. I saw Millsap in college and the dude was straight BEAST. I remember thinking he was the best player I'd seen all year. Was ecstatic when the jazz drafted him.

one love your comment about Euros kind of makes me sick. Yes there are Milicic's for every Nowitski's but there are also those for american players. You have to evaluate each player indivually. One of the things that, IMHO, makes players wash out or bust, is their desire to play the game. Some people just have natural talent and no desire to get better and they dont. Others are just tall and there for play basketball. Competitive drive is huge in making players better. Look at gobert he wants to dominate every time out. He took it personally when wiggins dunked on him.

Hezonja exibits all the competetive drive to be a very good player. He wants to win every time out. Gallinari was a pampered kid when he got here and that is never good. Hezonja has had to earn everything he has been give. He has good length, great athletism and desire to play the game. I would so draft him.
I love Hezonjas skills. I don't think we get him. He'll go high. I worry he is selfish though. Good point about him working hard. Maybe he's a good kind of selfish.

These guys make me nervous, both slumped badly playing stiffer competition the second half of the season.

Turner definitely slumped but Looney had some good games against good teams later in the year. Plus Turner turned 19 like a week ago - I think it takes bigs longer to develop in college and although he's raw offensively (despite having a jumper) I think his ceiling is high. He's going to put on more weight which will help him. I think his first few years in the league will be interesting - though I think Looney will contribute to a larger degree in the short term.

Agreed. Would probably draft Turner over Looney because he seems to have a natural shooting touch. His turnaround jumper is fairly unguardable and he hit it at 42.7%. And 84% free throw shooter is amazing. Also seems like a high IQ kid, Looney not so much.

Turner would be a good backup to Favors. Having Turner and Tomic as our bench bigs is a luxury - definitely four defensive bigs. And I haven't forgotten about Booker - he could even play some SF as he did with the Wizards.

Has anybody watched Cameron Payne? I haven't seen full game of his, but he's skyrocketing through the draft boards nbadraft.net puts him in the lottery, and DX has put him as a borderline firstrounder. He seems to be a a scoring and well shooting PG(shoots 38% from 3) from Murray State.

Another good game by Decker especially if he shoots the 3 well could boost him into the lottery. PKM is you are out there who from KY is going to guard him? I think the best defender against Dekker for KY is injured.

I would say WCS? You can always put Towns/Johnson on Kaminsky?

Also if they play Dekker at the 3, Kentucky can always go with the big (huge) Towns/Lyles/WCS lineup. They did it before they can do it again. WCS' length could really bother Dekker's shot.

Yeah, but I see Dekker putting the ball on the floor in this case and going right past him. KY could really use Poythress to guard Dekker.

Scouts have been saying WCS is one of those guys that could potentially guard 4-5 positions in the NBA. So guarding Dekker wouldn't be a problem for him.
