Following potential 2015 draftees

Matt Harpring during tonight's broadcast:

"People often ask me what do the Jazz need next year. What I say to that is we need a BIG THIRD BIG. Someone who can come in when Gobert and Favors is sitting. Preferably someone who can stretch the floor - that's what you need in the league now".

I'm almost 100% convinced that if we can't get Tomic we are targeting Kaminsky. Thing is, that I'm beginning to think he isn't going to be there at 11 or 12. Somebody is likely to take a chance on that in the top 10. I've said it since February. . . I'm still wondering why we need Mario when we have Hood. Of course we really don't NEED anything but a backup C. and we can get one outside the draft. Johnson would be a nice upgrade for Millsap. . .

Kaminsky will be a target for sure. He can stretch the floor where Gobert, and Favors can't.

I'd prefer we bring over Tomic, and draft a Mario though. Why draft Mario when we have Hood? For one Hood health is a mild concern.
Also, you can never have enough shooters. Mario would make us better. With both of our wings having injury problems Mario would be a nice insurance policy.

We won't be moving up.

This. I think we have a greater shot at moving down or out than moving up. I think there will be a good player sitting there at 12 that we don't have to give up anything for. Also, I think we have a plan in place for backup center outside the draft, so Kaminsky isn't a "must have." If he falls to us, however. . .
