Following potential 2015 draftees

Oubre would probably replace Ingles. Looney would probably replace Evans or Jerret.

Personally, I like Portis more than Looney, but maybe that's just me.

Ingles need to stay. He brings more to the table than just his heady plays. He's a good chemistry guy on and off the court. He also provides vet leadership and cool head when the situation requires.

If we draft Oubre, do we still re-sign Jingles?

If we draft Looney, do we cut Booker?

I'd resign Jingles as spot minutes/insurance for injuries guy, he also seems to be a great locker room guy. Also depends on how much Jingles would command in FA. If somebody offers him mid-level exception money I don't know if we'd be justified in matching.

I think Booker's fate will be decided by whether or not we trade for a big contract or not, and whether or not we sign a big contract free agent. I don't think it will be decided by us drafting Looney(or any other big).

Oh ok.. you should have quoted it, would have been more clear that way.

I think dong2ha 'liked' your post cos he thought you wrote it, not because you copied and pasted it.

How can a post be so 'precious' you can't go back and edit them?

I'm just looking out for dong2ha since he 'liked' your post and he is currently offline.

LOL .. just messin' with you Croc.

Still not sure how a post can be so 'precious' you can't edit/delete it though????

Do you seriously think all your posts are quote 'precious', unquote?

AGAIN???? That's like when you bumped your own post yesterday!!!

That's like 'liking' your own post on Facebook!!!!

KKK is the authority on character, which is all you need to know about how well a basketball prospect will do.

looney would be a meh pick but I wouldn't hate it.

booker would an interesting pick

portis I am liking more and more

for some reason I can't get excited about Dunn or grant. I personally prefer a vet mentor for exum.

I like lyles and think there is more to see from him.

Chad Ford has Utah picking Looney at 12 and says the Jazz would be "pinching themselves" if he's available...not really buying it. He has Kaminsky going 13th and RJ Hunter going 14th...

I do like the fit of Looney. I think the perfect player for us is a guy who can split minutes at the 4 or 3 and can defend both positions. I think Looney can do those things on the defensive end at least and may be able to develop into a 3&D SF.

He had us taking Looney even when we were at 7. He thinks we have a Looney love affair.

If he is successful it will be as a stretch 4. Otherwise he'll end up like Earl Clark, Aminu, and Thad Young (this actually wouldn't be that bad).

I'm fine with him at 12 but have little hope he is a 3 and D wing guy. I didn't like him when we were in the 6-8 range because I thought other guys were better prospects. I think his worst case is a Udonis Haslem lunch pail type of backup big. Best case he is a better shooting/longer Thad young. Probably less ball skills though.
