Following potential 2015 draftees

All these little drills are just to give the players something to do between the interviews and testing. If the Jazz (or any team) are interested in Dekker, come workout time they'll have him shoot 100 three's in a row....guarded.

Hunter shot 19-25 on 3's, that gets my attention if I'm DL and bring him in for a workout.

Even then... I trust game percentages. With RJ I would look at contested vs. uncontested 3s. I'm nothing special... played a little high school ball and I've made 19 3s in a row in an open gym. If you get fed the ball and shoot them all in a row off a pass it is easy to get in a rhythm and doesn't simulate what happens in a game.

Basically other than interviews I hope that 95% of their homework is already done and that workouts don't dictate what we do.

I know Rudy had a great workout here, but the main thing I heard attendees took out of it was that he plays really hard. He didn't have good workouts other places and got overlooked in part because of it. I hope that is not a mistake we make. I don't think it is because we took Ex last year without having him in.

Wonder where/if this dude gets drafted.

His shot looks pretty good, especially for a dude that huge. Looks a little bit like Kanter's shot.

Kind of looks like an Indian version of Kanter, just from an appearance standpoint.

Hate his mentality. He's 7'2" 3 bills and clearly in love with shooting. He says he likes to shoot... shoot... shoot....and shoot some more. And that he tries his best in the post. Plant your *** in the post, boy. I don't care what era of basketball you think this is.

Kris Humphries went 70 for 85 at the end of practice the other day per Zach Lowe... i am a rec league basketball player and can shoot 16 for 25 in an open gym with no defense.

Not to cap on you... you are a good poster. Just that shooting in an open gym isn't terrible impressive unless they kill it... like 20+ out of 25.

Did you go through a NBA style workout before your shooting drills?

No one cares what you shot dude. 16 of 25 is a good number and shows he can at least hit the shot.

I hear you, it was just a slow day in this thread and that was some relevant news whether it matters or not.
