Following potential 2015 draftees

Turner is looking way better to me than WCS. Am I missing something?

Yes. WCS shows the ability to guard 4's and 5's. In my mind thee is less bust potential with WCS then anyone in the draft he has great athletic ability to go with great defensive instincts. Has potential to be a top 5 C in the league down the line.

This is classic WCS.

Larry Bird: You are a 100M player.
WCS - Really?

Haha .. Love WCS. Such a humble fun-loving kid.

DX just released their updated move draft. Team needs have NOT been taken into account yet but I still like who they have the Jazz drafting.

I'm down with Booker but with Burks, hood, Hayward as our main wings and jingles/lilsap as our fill in wings I'm not sure the pick helps us real soon. Then again, I want super Mario and he is a wing too.

I do think Booker could be pretty good though.

Hell, I don't really like anyone who will be there at 12. I guess im hoping for oubre (another wing) and hoping he ends up being kahwi leonard.

I think it's really interesting that a team like the GSW are looking (reportedly) for even more shooting.

Every team needs more, especially the Jazz.

I can't disagree with ya.

two of my under the radar second round draft stills are

Noman Powell- UCLA going be a solid role player/ fringe starter

Alan Williams- UC Santa Barbara- Lacks height but has a huge huge wingspan, is built like a rock and has great footwork and excellent bball iq

Williams will never be a starter but could se ehi off the bench. A more polished Malik Rose think.

Someone needs to give me a job the nba. I have whiffed on one player thru the years. ONE. Babbit from Nevada. Thought he be a solid role player. I was wrog so far.

I think the WCS stuff is a smoke screen from either the Larry Legend or the WCS camp.
Larry had a good draft record as a GM.

The smallball stuff with George is exaggerated. It's only partially true. As long as LeBron is a perennial finals participant, having one of the handful of wing defender who can challenge LeBron as much as possible basically means you can/must have that smallball lineup with 1 Center and PG/Leonard/Butler/Iggy/Draymond/... nominally at PF. Teams must practice that sporadically during the regular season

I also think Roy Hibbert lacks the "testicular fortitude" to test free agency after his weak 1 1/2 seasons a year before the cap explodes and he can easily secure himself a better long term contract in an environment where everybody but the Nets have tons of cap space.

So what could have happened here:
1) WCS camp hasn't received too much positive feedback from higher teams and fears he might drop to Indiana at 11, who have Roy Hibbert. That interview helped him out there and he wants to win back interest with other teams.
2) The Pacers want something done about their roster and sent word out through WCS that they are open for trades around Hibbert.(Hibbert has PO, and such a move might get a team to the table that wants him. So you work out a handshake deal with a team over the cap. Hibbert opts in, getts traded, Pacers get Trillie. Prolly 3 way shenanigans needed or seperate trades)
3) The pacers want Willie, but couldn't agree with his camp on him sitting out other interviews/workouts etc. Now he leverages that feedback.

I personally think that WCS is interesting. But none you'd die for, except if he becomes DeAndre Jordan with the brain of Tyson Chandler. And I think that's a long shot. I don't think he's that explosive and smooth.

I would take Oubre ahead of Booker. The main reason is rebounding. This is how Randy Foye hurt us in the past. He didn't get hardly any rebounds and it amplified our defensive shortcomings. Also, the question the Jazz have to ask themselves is whether Booker will take minutes from Hood. Of course, you could say the same about Oubre.
