ThisI'm a huge Russell fan, but it's not close. Gobert every time. Gobert is already there and getting better. As good as Russell is not a guaranteed star.
New York isn't trading their pick, imo. Can't pass up the chance to get talent like that on a rookie deal.
Yeah can't wait for the tourney to start.I missed a lot I see.
Count me in the Exum camp.. Almost unreadable at this point. Need more data.
Is it just me, or does Russell look like he'd be a liability on defense if pg doesn't work out?

Maybe. Exum's value is really low right now. I think he'd be seen as low-lottery value. Wiggins was traded for an all-star. That was a bit of an unusual deal. Cleveland didn't want to give him up, but LBJ insisted. The #3 pick was used by Brooklyn to get Deron. Again, an all-star.
What Philadelphia needs MOST is a PG. They're in position to get one. I don't see them giving up the #2. Jazz MIGHT be able to trade a ton of picks/players to get to #4. I think that's the highest they could get. It's very unlikely Okafor, Towns or Russell are traded. Those are pretty much the consensus top-3, with a sizable gap to the next group.
Favbert back there in the paint doeIs it just me, or does Russell look like he'd be a liability on defense if pg doesn't work out?
Favbert back there in the paint doe
I feel very strongly this is true.
Probably Exum+Jazz this year+Jazz next year+another future first could do it.
