Following potential 2015 draftees

I can't be the only one who hates Looney's game. He goes wayyyyy too long without actually doing anything to be worthy of a top ten pick. Frequently looks disengaged.

He might be better in the pros than college, but yeah, he's not terribly exciting. I think Lyles and Portis are comparable prospects.

I'm a fan of WCS, but there's no way I pick him before Porzingis. Can you imagine the Jazz with Gobert, Favors, Tomic, Porzingis and Booker? Holy ****. That's a fun as hell front court that can match up with most any lineup that can be rolled out at them. Go big, small, shooters, defense? Whatever you need. . . we got that.

Haha.. plus we need to get the International ratio high...

Gobert
Porzingis
Hayward
Ingles
Exum

That's a Spurs like 4:1 ratio.

Here's some crazy talk, but I'll bet Porzingis can guard some 3s if he's got Gobert behind him to clean up his mistakes. Forcing SFs into long jumpers is a good defensive strategy most of the time. Porz would just have to chase them off the 3-pt line and make them drive into Gobert. Then he can space the floor on the other end a la Toni Kukoc.

I'm with you. Every time I watch him I get lower on him. I don't buy the "you should see how skilled he is in practice" argument either. I am sure if a player was awesome at something and it was good enough to use in the game It would pop out at sometime.

Suggested that once upon a time, and I think the general consensus was that he's not athletic enough to guard NBA 3's. The potential is intriguing though. . . Gobert, Favors, Porzingis, Hayward and Exum. That team is almost as long as my ****. Plus then you'd still have Tomic, Booker, Hood, Burks, Jingles/Millsap and Burke/Neto rounding out the bench.

Right, the thinking is that he can bother 3-pt shooters and force guys like Iguodala, Parsons, Batum, etc. to try to beat us with drives and mid-range jumpers. Those are low-percentage shots.

I like Porzingis and think he'll be able to do a lot of the things Chris Bosh does.

Guys like Mirotic and Ryan Kelley have been playing the 3 this season so I think he could. To get him we would have to move up in the draft. Very surprising if he does not go top 6.

you add the foriegn players and Hayward and say that is 4 to one. what the hell? or are you saying Hayward is foriegn? what the hell?

The range of emotions the DX scouting reports give you.

1st half: **** yeah, get this guy he is a beast

2nd half: Jesus Christ this guy is a weenie who sucks at basketball.

After watching Mirotic dominate the last week I really want to like Porz. Offensively this dude seems like a potential monster, but his weaknesses make him seem like a weak version of Kanter.

He would be such a risky pick. He has no strength (and I'm not sure he has the body type that will fill out well) and no post game. Sucks at post defense and is on Kanter's level of passing.

Johnson is away ahead of Winslow in terms of floor.. And ceiling. Shouldn't be a conversation.

I think Winslow's floor is something like prime Deshawn Stevenson. His ceiling might be....hmm.... I don't know--maybe a better version of Terrence Ross, or maybe Andre Iguodala. I get nervous now when guys can't shoot.
