Following potential 2015 draftees

If Justin Jackson, with his length, athleticism and skill set, can hit the three like he is tonight against UVA (I'm watching a recording), he becomes a very intriguing wing prospect. He has a very good stroke, but just hasn't shot it very well most of the season.

Bobby Portis is playing really well. He had 18 pts. in the first half and has done a bit of everything.

Edit: Finished with 26/11/2as/2st/1bl, shooting 8/13 and 9/10 free-throws. He hit his only 3-pt. attempt.

He lists 6'11" and 240lbs.

Pretty intriguing.

If we are looking for a second PG, I think I'd pick Dunn before I pick Grant in this draft. He just had another monster performance vs Villanova - 22pts, 7rbs, 9 assists, 2 steals and single-handedly almost upset one of the best teams this year.

In the last three games, Portis has averaged 24/11/2as/1.3bl/1st shooting 57% from the floor (2/5 from 3-pt).

He's got legit NBA size and good mobility. Seems like he could be our 3rd big.

Yep, and to add to that he's not a defensive liability. I actually feel like he can be a + defender in the league.

If he can tighten his handle.. Turnovers is his middle name.

Yah, I know, TOs for him are a concern, but I kind of feel like it's important to actually see what the reason for the TOs is. I think a lot of his turnovers are the good type of turnovers where he actually tries to create, tries to thread the needle, etc. I honestly think that TOs are not horrible for young PGs... I think with time they get used to what they can and cannot do and the TO count falls down to more normal numbers.

Just an example with a current young PG in the league, who was from a small school and had a ton of TOs in college. Elfrid Payton had 5.6TO/40 in his first season in college, then two seasons at 4 TO/40 and now in the NBA with NBA-level talent and coaching he's at 3TO/36, which is very much acceptable when he has 7.5 assists/36

Definitely a better fit alongside Favors or Gobert than Kaminsky.

*Tennessee is a super small though, really easy for good big men to dominate them*
