Following potential 2015 draftees

First time I've really watched Grant play. I don't see a mid first guy. At least not tonight.

I also think Jordan Mickey from LSU would be an awesome backup big.

He has been sucking lately, I think he must be injured or something. I was talking about him early when he was putting up nasty stats. Would be a nice project PF. Not sure if he would be good, but he has the athleticism and motor to be a good backup.

Definitely a better fit alongside Favors or Gobert than Kaminsky.

*Tennessee is a super small though, really easy for good big men to dominate them*

Tell me why though. I've watched 2 actual Portis highlights to date.

College basketball is becoming really miserable to watch! Guys just can't seem to hit shots, so many turnovers, and so many FT's/fouls! They need to find a way to make players stay longer in college. It will make the college game and the pro game better!

Here's some highlights from Kris Dunn's game last night:

Just because he is more mobile.

Kaminsky is a plodder. I just don't think him and Gobert would be a good combo.

Portis doesn't have Kaminksy's range, but he is a pretty good midrange shooter and has college 3 range. He is just a complete PF and has a lot of potential. He has starting potential. Even though our team seems great, I still think we need to hit on this draft pick since it might be our last chance to add a highly talented player.

The dude stopped his mom's abusive boyfriend from beating her at age 15 so you know he is a badass.

Bobby was 15 at that point and time," said Tina Edwards, Portis' mother. "I guess he'd had enough of his mom being talked to real bad."

Portis approached the man as his mother grabbed their belongings and told her four boys -- Portis has three younger brothers -- that they were leaving.

"I stopped it, actually," Portis said. "Somehow he got mad about something. I don't know what he got mad at. My mom, she ran out of the room, and he came out, trying to hit her. Then I stood up and [said], 'No, don't do this.' He tried to hit me, but I grabbed his hand in the act of hitting me."

He plays at 2:00 central time on Saturday on ESPN if you want to watch a full game.

They need to change the shot clock and reduce the amount of timeouts.

If we are looking for a second PG, I think I'd pick Dunn before I pick Grant in this draft. He just had another monster performance vs Villanova - 22pts, 7rbs, 9 assists, 2 steals and single-handedly almost upset one of the best teams this year.

Yeah very intriguing. If we're not in love with anyone at #12, why not move back and take Dunn? Include Trey in the deal and may be we can get a future first?

That would be a dream scenario. Move Trey, got a backup PG, got a future 1st.

Meh to rookie PG's. I feel like that is the one position were we really just need a solid veteran, or improvement from Burke.

Well our offense isn't PG heavy anyway. Hayward, Burks, Ingle and more recently Hood had been handling the ball quite a bit and initiating the offense.

I think a PG in the mould of Exum is a good idea, i.e., a PG who can defend, likes to pass, and can knock down open 3's. Kris Dunn seems to tick all the boxes. He's also averaging 7.5 assists? That's a Jazz type player.
