I would, Dekker can barely dribble, doesn't get to the FT line, and doesn't hit 3's at a high rate on one of the better spaced teams in the country.

Kaminsky probably has a better handle than Dekker.

Seemed to do pretty well tonight in space when I watched him. Cut off a few drives at the rim and rebounded in space. Got switched on a point guard and moved his feet well.

I think we get hung up on what players can't do sometimes. Frank will be a tough cover in the league. Great shooter... Has a decent drive game... Can post up... Good and willing passer. He is a mix of Brad miller and memo.
 
It's pretty widely known Randy Whitman is a bad coach and is misusing Porter. Porter going to go to the Spurs after his contract expires and probably dominate next to Kahwi Leonard.

He is a much better ball-handler than any of those guys too.

He has many rare and translatable skills... I'm willing to look past his defensive limitations.
 
We should draft stainbrook in the second round. He looks like every goofy big guy I've played against in rec league... It makes me happy.
 
Portis has more speed, more motor and probably better defense than Kaminsky. He's probably got at least as good a wingspan, though I don't see measurements for Kaminsky.

Portis' 3-pt percentage is also better (though he takes fewer attempts), his rebound average is higher, his points per 40 mins is slightly higher, his blocks per 40 mins is just a hair behind, and he's almost 2 years younger.

Kaminsky turns 22 next week.
