Following potential 2015 draftees

Effort, hard work, feel for the game, clutch genes.. I think you need to take these into consideration too. Granted Oubre is still young but I don't see a lot of 'fight' in him. There is plenty of 'fight' in Dekker.

If you watched Aaron Harrison in the tournament last year, you would have said he had clutch genes too... Don't overreact to one or two games. Dekker is a 34% 3-pt shooter and an average defender and rebounder at best. He's not a starter in the nba, imo.

This is true...

His next test should reveal all. He's going up against Justise Winslows.

Juicy.

I thought Andrew Harrison played well tonight. He might be on the first round bubble.

Maybe not after what he said in his post-game conference...Not sure if I can post the tweet since it has bad words and I've gotten 2 fracts in the past couple weeks for it.

Asked him what he thought about Frank Kaminsky and he said **** that [derogatory term for african american]

I'm down on Devin Booker right now. I know there was some comparison to JJ Redick, but that's hogwash. Redick was a go-to scorer even as a freshman and became college player of the year as a senior. Redick was much more versatile offensively.

Could argue that about anyone in the 12 range. They all have some pretty big holes in their game.
So at that point you start looking for intangibles. Work ethic, grit, character, etc. Dekkar does pass all those with an A rating.

Looney, Portis and Lyles are all better prospects overall than Dekker, imo. This is the annual overreaction to one guy's tournament run.

He doesn't have enough athleticism, handle or defensive ability for my liking. Being in the limelight, he should definitely enter the draft now, but I don't see him being a great pro. Just my opinion.

UK didn't have enough outside shooting to win. Wisconsin had better spacing, made a couple plays here and there and got a couple controversial calls.

Towns was the best inside player, though Kaminsky held his own on a couple defensive possessions.

Booker couldn't shake free from Badger defenders, and I worry about his ability to score against NBA defenders.

I wouldn't overreact to Dekker having a few good offensive games in the tournament. I don't think he's really lottery talent. He's a streaky shooter who doesn't do all that much else. I'd rather have Oubre.

Trey Lyles will be a decent 2-way NBA player, especially if he gets space to use his mobility and drive. I like the way he played.

great post
