Following potential 2015 draftees

I'm checking out Dunn now that PG_AB mentioned him. Yeah, he's got elite talent. Plays fast. Has incredible anticipation in the passing lanes. Nice wingspan. He's like Eric Bledsoe, except bigger and a bit faster. He can work on his shot. Someone's going to be really happy getting this kid.

I liked him until I saw what he did against Kentucky (NBA level length)
1-7 and 10 turnovers

To turn the ball over that many times indicates a loose handle and probably low IQ for doing the same dumb things over and over and over.

He's aggressive, but I think he can be tempered with some coaching.

I had prospects such as Dennis Schroder, Shabazz Muhammad, Rudy Gobert, Tim Hardaway Jr, MCW and Mason Plumlee rated above consensus in 2013, and 'redflagged' a bunch of underwhelming prospects that have so far under-performed... lets not pretend like the draft is some beatable game of minesweeper, there's too many variables involved. The Nerlens injury threw a ton of people for a loop, including those with jobs on the line.. to me its just a hobby, I try to get a majority of the predictions right, not every single one, I always think i can do better but thts just because im competitive, all things considered I did pretty good in 2013 if i could replicate those results yearly, i couldnt complain. Plumlee and Hardaway were players i was all about the Jazz going after at 14 and 21, they ended up outside of the top 20 and then on the first team all rookie squad..

The Suns play small ball and leave 21 year old Len, who didnt pick up a basketball til his teenage years, to fend for himself in the paint, his foul rate was dropping each month, hes still adjusting, its certainly not an ideal team fit, the dude has had terrible luck with injuries, broken fingers, broken nose.

Ever listen to what Jeff Hornacek has to say about Len?? raves about his professionalism and work ethic in practice, in the weight room and watching film. The Cavs had the #1 pick that year, would Alex Len not have been better for them than Bennett?!?! GTFO with that nonsense, reaching from years ago.

the fact is I started here posting on this site, about all the Centers in that draft... Rudy was in my initial post in the "following draftee's thread" in a list that included names like Tarczewski and Isaiah Austin, my stance was that theres probably gonna be a really good C that falls because its one of the strong suits in this this ****ty draft.....

LaVine drops 37 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists on 13/21 shooting (6/10 from 3) last night. yall remember posters in here drawing conclusions over his lack of 20 point games in college? ****s kinda funny now, amirite?

when Zach dropped in those 2 3 pointers in the final minute, to bring the game to OT vs the Jazz; I gotta say I laughed really hard, that was so sick, cold-blooded, whatever you want to call it, and probably the worst game ive ever seen Trey play.

Meanwhile backup extraordinaire, and noted shooting maven Aaron Gordon, put his fingerprints all over the lowest scoring quarter in shot clock history, a combined 15 points in the 2nd between the Magic and Knicks, during this historic quarter AG was on the receiving end of the block of the night, hes also shooting a very respectable 12% from 3 since the ASB, but that hasnt stopped him from throwing up those lasers which normally clank in similar fashion to Haywards 3rd FT to tie the game vs the Grizzlies.

Some around here were ready to wet themselves over the possibility of using a top 5 pick on AG to be the backup PF this year.. turns out he wouldnt have even been as productive as mid-level Trevor Booker though - thank you Rob Hennigan!!!

Anyway I expect big changes this year, always was kinda high on this class relative to its perception, and im not even all that crazy about Okafor, I see plenty of depth and I really like this crop of International prospects. Im waiting on the declarations and workouts to come up with something final, (Zhou Qi is someone id have top-10, he'd kill it in workouts), If Russell can have workouts like Damien Lillard and Steph Curry Ill be dropping Towns down to 2.

1a Towns
1b Russell
3 Okafor
4 Hezonja
5a Mudiay
5b Porzingis
7 Johnson
8a WCS
8b Poeltl
10 Winslow
11 Oubre
12 Dunn
13 Lyles
14 Looney

Now i must bid yall ****ers adieu

Need I remind everyone PGAB is the guy who named himself PointGod_AlecBurks because he was so confident Burks could be a point guard?

Actually under Snyder's system I would be all for getting rid of Burke and moving Burks to the pg spot. That would free up a wing spot for hezonja or johnson.

Burks could not be worse the Burke.

Looking at PG_AB's list, I like it, but I'm not quite as high on Stanley Johnson. I think there's some risk with him tweening, but worth taking at 10.
I'm okay with Poeltl and think he could be the best back-up center in the league, but really just an average starter.
I think Myles Turner's floor as a scorer and defender is a bit above where Donatas Montiejunas is right now and his ceiling is above where Hassan Whiteside is now. For me, that makes him a top 10 - 12 pick.

I would not put Turners ceiling above where Whiteside is right now... I don't really like the guy and wouldn't want him on a team I supported, but he's easily played like a top 5 center when he's on the court this season.

Still sticking with mostly the same guys I'd be happy to get(top 4 and Porz gone- I like them well enough but wouldn't want to trade up far enough). But guys I'd be cool with moving up 2-3 spots to grab Johnson, Mario, Winslow, WCS otherwise probably just stay in place and grab one of Poeltl, Oubre, Kaminsky probably in that order.
