Following potential 2015 draftees

the croc's lotto

towns - would create the best 3 headed monster in the nba
Russell - perfect fit with Hayward and exum
mudiay - let's trade Burke. could play in the back court with exum
okafor - hard to find guys with his offensive talent
hezonja - could be the best player in this draft. he commits to playing defense he will be very good
Winslow - what's not to like oh his 2 pt shooting other then that great talent
porzingis - would make an ideal stretch 4 for the jazz and defense with Gobert and favors might cover up his
Johnson - like the idea of playing him as a stretch 4
wcs - BPA and would completely frustrate teams when Gobert sits
turner - he is this high because I think shin splints and big feet hindered him. both can be either fixed or adjusted too
looney - great ability to play with favors and Gobert as a stretch big and could go big with him at the 3 at times
kaminsky - just cause he is ready to play now
poeltl - I know very little. yes I am ignorant to him. hate the utes so there you have it but he does have talent
oubre - might as well take a flier and pray QS Han light a fire in him. honestly he could be a Paul George type of player.

Good list.

I would move Okafor ahead of Mudiay because Okafor's offense with Gobert behind him.. killer.
Johnson ahead of Porzingis.
Kaminsky after WCS.
Oubre ahead of the Ute kid.

Actually under Snyder's system I would be all for getting rid of Burke and moving Burks to the pg spot. That would free up a wing spot for hezonja or johnson.

Burks could not be worse the Burke.
If they do that, I'd draft a wing AND try to sign DeMarre Carroll.

Burks and Exum at PG, then some combination of Hayward, Carroll, Hood and Hezonja/Johnson filling out both wing spots. That would be badass!

Here's Turner. He's not as aggressive defensively, but is more skilled offensively. Whiteside is probably a bit longer.

AS long as we get a player who doesn't bust, we're all good. Not expecting a starter, but we need to accumulate assets to trade and to get us through injuries. Our bench is just getting deeper and deeper. Pretty soon, Jazz rejects will start popping up as quality backups on other teams.

So you're pretty conservative in who you're picking? A high floor, low ceiling type player?

So may be Poeltl? A guaranteed 3rd/4th big in the NBA. He won't bust out of that role, but won't do anything amazing neither.

Those are the types of players I see available in the 11/12 range. Don't really see any "sleepers." But if we got a player like Burks or Hood, would that be a disaster? Outside of PG, I feel pretty good about the rotation we're going to have. The key will be just adding quality depth each season and pouncing if the opportunity ever arises to upgrade without it costing us a key player.
