Following potential 2015 draftees

I'd be happy with most of the players in our range. Go for Booker cause we need shooting. Kaminsky for a scoring big off the bench. Oubre or Johnson for the potential and defensive abilities. Looney or Turner for defense and potential.

I hope you're right.

To put things in perspective, the cap this year will be about 67 million. Then the new tv deal kicks in and it jumps to 90 million, and then around 108 million the year after that. Even if Alec doesn't improve at all, it will be a tradable contract. As long as he stays healthy, his contract will almost certainly be a flat-out bargain in two years.

Johnson acknowledges the stretch-4 trend and sees himself fitting that mold (in addition to playing on the wing). He also says that the most important thing for him is not how high he's drafted or how many minutes he gets as a rookie, but to be drafted to a team where everyone is simply focused on winning. I think he'd be a great fit here.

OK, but don't all potential draftees say that though?

I'm not sure Johnson can really be a stretch 4 anymore given his measurements. He is a good 2 inches shorter than I thought with only a standing reach of 8'6. He has the physical strength and mass, but not the vertical length to do it (just speculating). Dekker may be better suited as a stretch 4 than Johnson.

I think measurements hurt Johnson the most out of anyone. I'm not usually a big measurements person, but when you are projecting a guy to play some spot minutes at the 4, it's kind of important they have at least moderate PF size.

Had the same thoughts when I saw his measurements.

What are Draymond Green's measurements?
