Yeah. That doesn't jive. I can't see the Kings giving up Cousins for less than an All Star or a top of the line pick in the draft. Lakers would have to give a lot more to get that done. And I can't stand Cousins.
How can we get rid of Cousins?Kings would be smart to trade Cousins. Get rid of the cancer and start over. But get a lot for him. You should be able too.
If Lakers get Cousins and the 6th pick. Wow, what a steal. Doubt that happens though. That can't be right.
Was able to get the night off of work to watch the draft![]()
agree with your list.. but no chance on Winslow falling to 12.The last time that the jazz had the 12 pick in the draft I was at ESA for the draft party and I had a few guys I was hoping to be there at 12 but no one I was super excited about. (I remember hoping for Klay and hoping that jammer would be off the board)
My guy that I really really wanted in the draft though was Alec Burks.
I thought he would be gone around #8 though so I really was not getting my hopes up about him. (I had Burks rated in the top 5 that year)
I left ESA floating on a cloud of happiness after that draft.
The guy in this draft that could give me that same feeling is Winslow (and of course, my favorite, Russell)
If we somehow get winslow at 12 then we had the best case scenario draft imo. Stanley Johnson would be great as well.
If no one falls unexpectedly then I want: 1st, Frank 2nd, Oubre 3rd, Turner.
Don't really want anyone else.
Same.Except I had to switch shifts with my coworker, so I work Wednesday instead of Thursday.
He said why do you need Thursday off? I said I was going to a wedding lol.
Here is the source of the Cousins rumors:
Probasketballdraft @Probballdraft
"Still in talks but initially sounds like Kings get 5 pick, Vucevic, & other picks, Magic get 2nd pick & take Okafor, Lakers get Cousins & 6.
...
If Lakers move down to 6 to pick the likely target is Myles Turner according to the source. #NBADraft #Lakers
...
Spoke to a source who confirmed that the Lakers are speaking with the Kings and Magic about a 3 team deal for the 2nd pick, Cousins, etc."
Kings trade Cousins for Vucevic and move up one draft spot to do what? Take Mudiay, Porzingas, or Her Lasagna?
From DX updated mock draft (today):
12. Utah Jazz - Myles Turner
The Jazz have built one of the most talented young rosters in the NBA with an exciting blend of length and athleticism. Outside shooting has long been a priority of this new regime, and with that in mind, drafting one of the best floor-spacing options in the draft in Myles Turner makes some sense. As good as the Rudy Gobert/Derrick Favors 4/5 combo is defensively, it would be helpful to have a real stretch-big man option to plug in at times to help the team's spacing. Frank Kaminsky was previously slated here, but his refusal to visit Utah may cause the Jazz to cool on the prospects of drafting him, and he is regardless already off the board here.
Lol and half this board said it was stupid to even talk about that.
This makes no sense to me. How the hell are you going to get Cousins + 6 for 2?
