the problem is that he's shooting in the 30's or lower(FG) in pretty much every competition he's been in. On that one he's very very far from Stauskas... But I think he's probably a better passer and has better feel for the game, and better ballhandler probably... In general I don't think Stauskas is a good comparison.

I think it's pretty telling that coach Self trusts a 17 1/2 year old Ukrainian who just moved this summer and is with a pretty good likelihood still adapting to culture and language besides basketball to play more minutes minutes than two top5 highschool recruits, namely the 19 year old Cliff Alexander and Kelly Oubre who turns 19 in two weeks.
Not saying they are weak or untalented or anything and I know that disciplinary reasons could be involved in their limited playing time. Just wanted to point out that currently Svi is more established in Kansas rotation.
