Following potential 2015 draftees

I'd imagine WCS would be a very high priority pick for the Knicks (aging Dalembert), Lakers (undersized Hill), or Celts (alligator arm Olynyk).
If any of them finish above us, it would be almost like moving up for free, we don't need WCS.

Yeah. But you can't ignore the fact that he played football in high school. PKM recommended, Harpring approved. How much would Bolerjack love talking about Freakazoid 2.0, and his HS football exploits? I mean how can you possibly cover a 7'0" receiver?

In all honesty though, I could live with him as the pick if Gobert's attitude rubs off on him. Jazz need scorers (not shooters) and defense. Even if he doesn't start, his D is a redeeming quality.

I have been reading about towns and watching highlights. Wow. I want that guy on this jazz team. Looks like like the best fit to me alongside favors and even alongside gobert.

What do you guys think if mudiay? If we got him, his might he fit with exum? I know he is a bigger point guard as well, maybe they could play together?

They would be dynamic.. but outside shooting would concern me.

There was a minute there where I thought exum was going to be an awesome outside shooter, then he started shooting less than 30% from long range. Ideally we would get a knock down shooter who plays awesome defense to start at the two, I guess. Or maybe if we get mudiay we could go find a sharp shooting stretch four.

WCS doing it again.. now against U*NC.

UK up 15 at half.
Will Cauley-Stein be this year's Embiid in terms of shooting up the draft board? Maybe he becomes the consensus #4 behind Okafor, Towns and Mudiay?

I know this is blasphemy, especially since my board name is "Stifle Tower," but I wouldn't be opposed to drafting WCS if he's available. Don't keep Kanter, freeing up that money to go out and get a wing in free agency. Then, split minutes betweem Gobert and WCS at the 5, with Favors as the PF and emergency 5. Either keep Booker or find a stretch-4 to develop. IF WCS blows up, then in a couple of years, maybe Gobert has HUGE value as a Harden-type contract - i.e. he's traded on his cheap rookie contract to a team that wants his RFA rights and is going to pay him whatever it takes to keep him. Or, if Rudy continues to improve and the Jazz can keep him, WCS becomes the trade chip. I could see Rudy's competitiveness and Quin's guidance really helping WCS to get/keep the fire burning. If he were to go to the wrong team (like the Knicks or Lakers), I could see WCS lose his confidence and desire.

I think that's a bit aggressive.. but I do think he's solidifying a top10.

The more players in that range, the better selection the Jazz may have. Even if they plan on Gobert/Kanter going forward, a team selecting WCS could push a player down to Utah (if the Jazz start winning some of these close games!).
