Following potential 2015 draftees

I haven't kept up on college this year.

Everyone give me your top ten NOW!

Tell me who you think is the best player and why.

Karl Towns

He shows potential to be an INCREDIBLE passer (see his behind the back pass from half court), rim protector (2.4 blocks per game in under 20 minutes), with range out to the 3-point line (it's not something he can rely on at this point in his development, but you can see the potential as a shooter). Who else in the NBA currently possess all three of those characteristics? I also think his post moves are better than Favors' were his freshman year of college. And he has more of a star mentality.

He has the potential to be so uniquely versatile. He has true two-way potential.

His post moves may be better than Favorses are (or should I say is) now. (lol)

Trying to come up with a comparison for Towns is really difficult. Some kind of Marc Gasol-Odom hybrid?

Really unique.

Ya.. I see that.

He will be a monster next year. He is a very smart kid and as his confidence grows, he will flourish. His upside is way.

Dedicated to Hack, a hack-attempt at a top 10 for the Jazz:

Towns - 2-way All Star talent, should develop go-to moves and work well within a system; some stretch-5 potential; better IQ and length than Kanter; Greg Monroe-tier athlete. Has that professional demeanor that makes you believe he's going to get better and dominate.

Okafor - Old-school post player (like James Donaldson old-school); a guy you can go to to get a bucket or open look for someone else; guy who will eat up space and rebound, but not really a rim protector

Mudiay - Versatile guard talent in the mold of Deron Williams, but bigger and craftier off the dribble and around the
rim

Hezonja - Top-tier athlete, ideal size and skill set for a wing. Has a lot of the capabilities of Hayward with more natural talent, but the jury is still out on his IQ and professionalism, which are what largely set Hayward apart

Porzingis - One of the most talented and versatile bigs from Europe in a long time. Looks to be better than Montiejunas, Valanciunas and Bargnani, which says what exactly I don't know. Not as soft as some Euros, but not an elite defensive player, similar to Valanciunas

Cauley-Stein - Rare defensive talent, with a combination of size, length, toughness, motor and timing that makes him a Joakim Noah-caliber defensive force. His slow-to-develop offensive touch also makes him similar to players like Noah and DeAndre Jordan.

Johnson - Nice toughness and work ethic make him a prototypical SF. He'll be good, but I'm not so quick to say he'll be great. I see James Johnson with more offense.

Winslow - More explosive and physically gifted than Johnson. A lot of potential as a strong 2-way SG, but it's mostly that (potential) right now. Has the physical tools to be almost a Wade-like player, but it's uncertain if he has the work ethic and drive to be great. Needs to work on his shooting and scoring moves.

That's only 8. It gets blurry for me after that, but Looney, Russel, Booker, McCullough and Oubre would all start to factor in. I don't know anything about Lavert at Michigan.

Thanks. I tried to rep, but I'm all out. Me and some others have been working on a diabolical rep ping scheme. Takes lots of reps.

But good post.

It seems this Karl Towns guy is the consensus top pick around here

If we pick him, there will be another Karl in town.

Even sporting the #32.
