Following potential 2015 draftees

You think he's a competitor eh? I don't even know what to do with that.

He's pacing himself? Against his coaches explicit wishes? He has a better idea of what he needs to develop than his head coach?

I'm one of those glass-is-half-full, optimist guys.

The Jazz have now played 41 games, half the season.

They have the same record as they had last year: 14/27.

Carry on.

Sounds like we'll get around the 5th pick again then. Currently DX has Porzingis as the #5 pick. He'll be an exciting addition.

I've used that comparison before.

Johnson/Favors/Gobert would be a ****ing wall on defense.

With the favors Gobert front court looking so nice I think we have to go with a SF/SG. I think Johnson's the dude. The easy comparisons are kwahi and butler, but he is better than both of them were at this point in their careers. I'd be stoked if we got him.

Ok, I believe Utah's wish list is about 8 deep. Not necessarily in this order:
-
1-Okafor
2-Mudiay
3-Towns
4-Russell
5-WCS
6-Hezonja
7-Johnson
8-Porzingis

After that, I start to get the mehs. Suppose it was 10 deep. Pick the last 2 on the list. Any other players you guys think might go higher than any of those 8?

Yeah, that's why he'll be drafted higher than those dudes were. Give us the hard comparisons. Throw out some oddball names.

The defense would be killer with favors gobert Johnson godward and whoever else (ideally exum) out there. Halfcourt offense would be pretty messy tbh, but hopefully they'd all develop quickly and open up the paint some eventually.

The odds of Johnson working as hard on his game as Butler has since he came into the NBA are slim to none doe. Dude has developed at an otherworldly rate. Johnson's got dat much higher base doe.

"Just gotta keep at it, young fella" - kkk

I haven't watched a TON of cbb this year, but if we come out of this with Johnson or Russell I will be beyond stoked. Both of those guys can flat out play and more than that they play with attitude. Gobert will love that.
