I'd predict that Hezonja will enter the draft. I think he's posturing a bit like Saric did last year. But it's not clear if he'd come over right away. If that's the case, it will hurt his draft position somewhat.

I don't disagree with that assessment at all, but I have seen Porzingis operate beyond the arc a lot more than your typical big and he seems to have a decent handle and passing skills that at least make it intriguing. I'm not saying that he can do it, but I'd certainly try. Because if he can. . . damn. That's a very lengthy, defensive lineup. If he can't, you reload and focus your efforts on developing him as a stretch 4. He'd be very, very awesome as a 3rd big behind Gobert and Favors. Same thing for WCS, but for more of the defensive options instead.
I haven't either. I think it is ridiculous to give up on him considering how young he is. The kid just turned 19 years old at the beginning of the season. He is in a new country, playing in a new league, with new teammates and a new coach. Throw in the fact he is use to playing with the ball in his hands. The kid plays better than average defense, his vision is above average and his shooting isn't as bad as first thought. The real issues are his poor conditioning and his passiveness. Two things I think he can over come with experience and working on his body and game. Jazz fans are way too impatient some times.
I think Exum will at least be an elite defensive player at the PG spot. He's shown flashes of that. He's also shown an ability to make smart, well-executed passes.
The only question is what he'll be as an offensive player. With his length and speed, he can raise up for an open jumper just about whenever he wants, and he can get a step on just about any guard in the league. Then the only question is what he does with it.

The tradeoff of having two traditional bigs like Gobert and Favors is there aren't going to be that many driving lanes for Exum. The ineffectiveness of Burks earlier this year on his drives supported this as well.
Exum currently needs to work on a floater from about 10' and improve his shooting.
Comparisons are never perfect. You can't compare a player to himself. Just thought Johnson looked a lot like Jimmy Butler out there when he was taking to the Utes.
Johnson is Ron Artest physically, that is pretty much a perfect comparison.
Hayward should sit down with him in the offseason IMO and really mentor him. I mean if you look at those 2, Exum has more of less the same tools as Hayward with the exception of an off the dribble jumper. They both pass very well, have decent handle and are very smart.
Anyone else like Cliff Alexander? I wouldn't draft him where I think we will be in the lottery (top 10), but I think he is good enough for late lottery. If this dude developed some ball skills and developed into a legit PF, he could be nasty.
