Following potential 2015 draftees

Wow they are really high on delon wright.

Russell sounds like the dude to get

Dude Delon is basically Burks with better vision and the will to play Defense. He's not quite as good as Burks at penetrating but he more than makes up for it elsewhere.

I doubt be is quite the athlete (leaping, speed, quickness, in air body control)

I like wright though.

Wright is a sr right? Look up Burks sophmore year stats....... off the top of my head they were something to the tune of: 3 assists, 21 pts, and 6.5 rebounds per game. About 47% from the field and over 80% from the line.
(These numbers might not be exact since they are just from memory) all that as a 19/20 year old.

I like delon wright alot though.

I just looked up delon wrights stats and they are better than I thought.

They compare very well against Burks stats and are maybe even better.

Good call heyhey

Nice post. Yes, I agree about Lyles. I think he's the most underrated guy in the draft now that everyone else has been discovered and talked about. I see Lyles as top 8 - 10 talent for sure. He's got a lot of versatility for a 6'10" guy, and he can make a variety of plays at a high level. He's not the alpha dog, but I think he'll be a much smoother and engaged PF than Kanter is right now. He could be an awesome part of the right system. If he keeps his motor up, he could look a lot like Al Horford, just with the skills he has already.

After Porzingis, Lyles might also be the next best complement to Rudy Gobert in the front court. That's worth thinking about. Some people are saying Gobert might become a top-5 center in the league. And if he really can play some minutes at the 3, then I'm sold on him for the Jazz. But I guess some people are more sold on Looney's ability to stroke the ball from range.

I feel like Delons reason for not coming out earlier is due to opportunity, not talent, which is comforting if you decide to take him.

Maybe so.
Either way, I'm digging delon wright. I don't see a scenario where we draft him though unless we trade back.
We wouldn't take him top 10 would we?

One of the ESPN pundits was saying that Mike Conley is the difference between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Jazz.....that without Conley, the Grizzlies would be the Jazz. Delon Wright is doing Mike Conley things, but with a body more like Tony Wroten. Could be special.

RUSSELL doin his thang. We need him...

He might be Steph Curry... I was beyond skeptical on that comp, but watching him right now... I think I'd take him #1 if I was the Jazz

Just hit 3 threes off the dribble one he got fouled on... the other two both guys went to him on the pick and roll. Still got it off. He's filthy.
