Following potential 2017 draftees...

I really hope they promise De'Anthony Melton with the 1st 2nd rd pick and tell em they want him on one of those 4 year 5m guaranteed deals like Willy Hernangomezz. Then send him to the D-League for a season..

He's got lockdown defensive potential and he's averaging over a block per game as a 6'4" guard in under 27mpg..

The risk/reward just seems really really lopsided for that type of 4-year cheap deal.. You can't have enough players that are that kind of athletic and can defend as he does.. potentially a limited commodity..

If the Jazz can get the standard improvement we've seen over the first 1-2 seasons with players he'd be a homerun..

41% 3pt shooter, he's got combo skills great bounce and long arms. Damn good project. Demon in the passing lanes.

Melton's actually got one of those 5 x 5 AK-47 statlines going in this game;

vs Cal at the half - 4points 5 rebs 4 ast 3 stl 2 blk

Happ's a damn good college player with a chance at getting drafted in 2018 but he kinda gets too much hype. I assure you Wake Forest's John Collins is a much better prospect.

I had a feeling Collins was an NBA player watchign him last year as aFr. I was definitely posting about him here. No suprise to see he's blown up and is regarded in thefringe 1st rd range.

Tariq Owens is like Khem Birch but longer and with a better frame for adding weight. Doesn't have chicken legs. He really has the look of a pro..

St. Johns is one of the best shotblocking teams in the nation, think their 2nd in total. Owens and Yakwe are the main reasons why
